We really loved this place during our Thanksgiving week beach trip. It was our favorite place to eat all week. This seemed like a historic "old Florida" style local restaurant with a great menu and excellent food and service. They also have one of the best salad bars that I've had in years.

Fantastic food at this restaurant. I had the blackened Shrimp and Scallops; absolutely delicious. Can't remember what my wife had because I was too busy working on my meal. Very nice ambiance and very professional wait staff. It was my first time there, I will definitely eat there again in the not too distant future.

I was with a party of 7 and nobody had anything less than superb. All the food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was prompt and drinks were consistently full.

The salad bar was amazing. Everything was fresh and about a dozen dressing choices.

A touch on the pricier side. All the entrees were over $20 with most being over $30. But even so, totally worth it.

My wife and I have just been to charlies. I had blackened grouper with baked potato. Fish was cooked perfectly. The wife had a sirloin steak. She said it was amazing. A little pricey but well worth a visit

This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food, the do offer half portions which are very small. I had the mahi mahi and it was very bland. The baked potato was very good though. The salad bar is very good as well. Service was impeccable and it overlooks the mangroves which is nice if you're into nature. Overall good but in my opinion too expensive for the quality of the food and portion size.

After searching google maps for seafood (and not just fish) we decided to try Charley's since it had the best selection of seafood. Wow! The food was amazing! I could not even finish my main course, i was soo stuffed. It also had the best salad bar with like 50 items..fresh greens, carrots, real bacon, peas, been sprouts, you name it. Price was within reasonable stands for a great restaurant. Service was just as great. Will return for sure next time we are in Fort Myers area!

The food is excellent, but the staff could learn a little European manners. The plates are removed before everyone in the party are done and you are asked bout dessert before the other ones in the party are done? Give us a few seconds please. AND..it's not because they need the tables. I can count about 8 or 9 free tables.

I love coming here and spending the little extra for the salad bar .The staff is always friendly, and the view of the outside canal on Ft Myers Beach is amazing. sometimes I see wildlife and boats go by. The food is great, I always get the clam chowder!! The salad bar is great too, tons of different varieties to add to my refrigerated plate! even the fruit bar is good for a light dessert. I still have yet to try one of their house pies!

Service was okay and the food was barely okay. For the price it should be great but the seafood reminded me of the chain seafood joints. The shrimp were really small and the portions were small for the price. I think that they push the "fantastic" salad bar to fill you up so you won't be disappointed. The salad bar isn't anything to impress you either, it has the usual things plus just a little extra. My daughter's steak was cooked right but had little flavor. The final irritant for me was that I ordered a draught beer and it was in what looked like a 10oz glass and the cocktail server had her separate tip jar proudly displayed. If you want to over pay for okay food this is your restaurant, if you want good food go someplace else. I know I wouldn't come back and I advised some friends that their group of 10 should go elsewhere too.
