Take the DART Train. The venue is just yards from the Galatyn Park Station. The regular elevators do not go to the lower level of the auditorium. I have bad knees so the steps to the first rows were brutal. There is a lift, but you need help with it. Which they offered. I didn't see much in the way of ADA amenities. That was disappointing. Feels like they did the access as an afterthought.
Visited for the annual Vocal Majority Christmas Concert. This is my second year attending this concert and I'm never left disappointed by the choir. They're always fantastic. I will say I'm sure now that the vocals are pushed far too down in the mix. Even sitting in the second row, I found that I was straining to hear some parts of the show And I'm probably one of the youngest in the audience every year I've been. Sound man, crank that gain up a hair on those vox! Otherwise, perfect show. Love the Eisemann.
We saw the Vocal Majority. They were wonderful. Their show helped put us in the Christmas spirit.
The theater was very nice. The chairs are comfortable. They have several options for snacks and drinks. I have been going to see performances here for years and have never had a bad experience.
Good entertainment choices available. Great venue. There are two auditoriums and hall for rental use by clients.
Ample parking--valet or personal
Handicapped seating
No bad seats
Fast food available prior to lecture
Extremely helpful staff
Directions easy by Google Maps
Wonderful venue. The smaller theater has smaller seats, but a very intimate feel to it. Avoid the restroom if at all possible, particularly women. Access and egress is a nightmare.
Great play. Thinking man's play about the world view that count. Eisemann Center is great place with different size theaters.
Nice theater with good acoustics. Was concerned about steps and aisles. Went to a show that was predominantly attended by older people and they struggled with narrow aisles and steep stairs.
Nice venue for music and theater. Kind of surprised by the spartan lobby- no art, sculpture or anything else. Also, the small restroom facilities. The restrooms are tucked into a narrow corner on the main floor, with only 14 stalls in the women's room. Best to make a dash for for the door when you think intermission is coming up, otherwise you'll be stuck in quite a line.
I have only been in the small theater, it felt like a practice stage. The pictures of the large venue look much better : / Good view from any seat though! Led lighting for the lower level seating (orchestra pit) and solitary seating in the rafters provides a place for people that go to these things alone, by themselves - without anyone perhaps creeper / stalker seating?
Nice venue for plays and other performances. This venue is right off highway 75 and there are some street parking but there is a covered packing lot connected to this location.
By far one of the best performing arts centers in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex.
We were just there for this year's RCAS annual juried art show, in which my wife is exhibiting. Everything was impeccably handled. It is a stunning facility inside and out.
The art installation above the ticket counter of halogen lighting through diffraction gratings is sheer genius. It looks best at night.
Saw The Nutcracker here and loved the production. Bought tickets through Groupon so it would be slightly helpful to have better directions on how to retrieve the tickets.
The Eisemann Center was such a wonderful place to have our wedding reception! The staff is simply amazing. They were very responsive when we were deciding on where to have our wedding. We took a tour that was very informative and from day 1, we knew we needed to have our reception in their Bank of America Hall (downstairs). Once we secured them as our location, they have a full team that works with you. Your team consists of your event coordinator, a security guard, an on-site technician the day of, and several other members that are there to help you along the way. They do have restrictions on your food (must use approved vendor list) and alcohol (must be catered by the Renaissance Hotel which is next door) but the majority of wedding venues do. This site was also very convenient for us since our out of town guests stayed at the hotel next door which allowed us more flexibility in a lot of wedding day activities.
Our biggest reasons for picking them includes: customer service, staff assistance, price, convenience of location being next door to a hotel, and you get the room for the entire day for a great price. You have the room from 8am-12am (midnight).
Overall, we are thankful and very happy with how everything worked out!
