Charbonos is a friendly American family restaurant with great chefs and service. All their dishes are five star. Kind of a feel good kind of place. Whenever I eat there I always feel pleased.

One of the best steaks ever! Got it cooked medium, very little fat,done just right. The 2 sides asparagus and spinach with mushroom were perfect! Would definitely recommend and return to this place!

We had reservations for 6:15 for six adults, plus a highchair. We were seated immediately at a roomy table. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff was attentive and helpful. The food seemed to take awhile to get to us, but it was delicious and good portions. I got a free dessert for my birthday. It was a very pleasant experience.

This was a nice piece to eat for date night. The food and service was good. I loved the bread and chili oil served before dinnerit was delicious! If you go to dinner M-F 4-6 your can ask for the early bird special and it makes your meal more affordable.

We dined at Charbonos on Tuesday and had their 'rib-eye special'. It was one of the most excellent meals ever! Our server was wonderful, ambience extraordinary. Hats off to the chef and staff! We will be back!

Really like this place a lot food is outstanding! I spent a half hour on the crapper (see ate lunch at John's Stew) and the TP was soft and easy on the ole bunny hole! Be back soon!

Two of my kids took me to dinner at this place. It was my first time there, it was really cozy and the food was really good. We started off with the 3 dip appetizer there was spinach and artichoke, red pepper hummus, fire roasted tomato, all three of us liked every one of the dips. I had horseradish salmon it was also really good. Each one of the kids really liked their dinner also. The young gentleman that served us was very friendly and polite, he talked with us, he made suggestions, he checked in on us numerous times. With how good the food was and how friendly the staff was I'm gonna recommend this to my friends and family and of course I'll go there again

We're from Chicago. Wouldn't recommend if you want an "upscale dining experience." We're here for Purdue's graduation, and decided to stop by. If you're a city person, the food and service were just ok.

Good service. The wood fired veggie pizza was very good. I find frequently with veggie pizzas the crust can be soggy, but not here. The three dip appetizer also was satisfying (red pepper hummus, spinach artichoke, and egg plant goat cheese). I had a half price martini (it was 4.50) that was quite dry. It was an all around pleasant visit.

My husband and I eat at Charbonos a couple times a month, for "date night". We enjoy the atmosphere and staff. Everyone is very nice and attentive plus the food is always consistently good. Their house salad is excellent as are their appetizers and entree's. My husband loves their meat lovers pizza and I like the items on their early bird menu. All in all a great place to dine, it has a "higher end" feel, yet reasonably priced and is close to home.
