First time being there with my wife. I notice dirt and dust on top of the glass where customers tell the peppers what they want on their food. I found a dead mosquito in the forks holder and I let the employee know but she didn't seem faized. Then i overheard an employee mentioned to another that the chicken tenders she saw in the basket for a customer order and was asking if it should be served to the customer because it looked old. I watched for awhile to see what the employee would say then she said just give it to him. I could not stand it any longer and i said to them " if you wouldnt eat it youself then dont serve it to him". I received my order but occasionally gandered over to see the employees. There was loud talking, overheard employee tell the cook to be quiet. It just looked like children were running the restaurant and could care less if food was served fresh or not. Its a very big concern as customers are risking their health on people they trust to prepare their food. Needs a New crew that cares about the customers and the business they are working at. Lots of retraining is heavly needed desperately and should also shut down the business to concentrate on meticolous cleaning. I felt like i was in the Twilight Zone. Also, i can see the employee talking about me because she was confronted on making the right decsion.
Dont waste your money here it might cost you your health.

I never have a bad experience with the food at Charhut. The food always good quality and can see when they cook it too. The only problem I have is with the staff.. The older lady who I assume is the manager is great! But the kids that they hire are all a bit lazy and have an attitude. And cannot take an order to save their life.. They either need to be a bit more selective or train them better.

This burger spot has been a staple of P. Pines for a long time. Many burger spots open nearby and eventually go OOB. Char Hut burgers are super tasty and give a park grilled type flavor that has you craving for more. Are there better burgers? Well, you would have to drive quite some ways, but you won't be disappointed here. They also have the best onion strings of almost any place I have ever tried. and I love onion strings, onion rings, bloomin onions, etc. There take on fried onion is incredible.

Love this place. I've been coming to this place for 35 years. Hamburgers and onion rings are the best. Also get the palomilla steak sandwich with plantains. Delicious

This is NOT the Char Hut of the '80's and even worse not the Char Hut just 3 years ago. The owners are "asleep at the wheel" and don't CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. Disgusting bathrooms, soda machine isnt mixed correctly, and if you go to "WPLG RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS" you will see they are DIRTY and have TOO many violations!!!! The RECIPE IS GREAT but the execution SUCKS!

All the Char-Hut locations are good. I have been eating at Char-Hut since 1982. If you want a burger with that real charcoal flavor, this is the place to go. Oh the onions rings are made with those real sweet maddalion onions. SEARCH NO MORE. :)

I love this place! I brought my kids for the first time, after moving away in 2012 when they were babies. They loved it. We need a charhut in Southern Cali.

Believe it or not, they have a great vegan option. I always order a veggie pattie on a Fiesta bowl. Which is rice, beans, plantains, and them you can put on whatever fixings you want. I like grilled peppers and onions, salsa, and hot peppers. There plenty more stuff. Staff has always been friendly to me. The Davie location is also very good. Lunch time is busy but they get you through pretty quick considering.

Great Burgers - can you believe, this is a Kid's Meal? Wowand they do allow adults to order them. A full burger and fries is too much for me, so I order the Kid's MealPERFECT. They even cook the burger to your taste. Nice crispy fries and always hot and fresh because they don't pre-make them! I strongly recommend this place.
