  I love this library. Well built and chock full of goodies. It has a secret room, overlooks the Genesee River, and my personal favorite is the 2nd floor where all of the history is located. I could spend hours there reading the old newspapers and plats. Inexpensive and us the hub of Monroe County's library system. They even have a library on wheels.

  The library downtown is a beautiful space to relax, unwind and grab a nice book in a comfy chair. It is easily accessible and free to anyone that can get there. A great place to visit.

  I just want to rate the cafe area as one star for a terrible experience.
  The rest of the library is excellent.
  I wish they went with other local coffee brewers because the people who work the starry nights cafe are exceptionally rude people. This man barked at me saying i needed to purchase something after sitting in the cafe area for just shy of five minutes when i was waiting for the library to open claiming i was "loitering the area". I am forever boycotting the cafe and all starry nights coffee. That is not the way to treat a potential customer. You will never gain my service. Stop yelling at people in public. No respect!

  I had couple documents to be scanned and Faxed over to my Company. Jeff one of the Representative came over me and helped me. He was very helpful and friendly. I love to go back every time.
