Played here a few years ago, having always wanted to try this track.. it was so disappointing over 5 hours, and had to walk off before teeing off in almost total darkness on 18..
So booked to play an early AM start and what a difference !
Post Erma, the course was in superb nick, the greens were simply fabulous, and this time round no over seeding, so good run on the ball off the tee. There are some truly great holes out there. Top of my list next time i will be in FL
When we arrived, we were asked to pay a different rate. Tee times and price were set 3 weeks prior but apparently, they go through a 3rd party for reservations. However, after 5 min of negation on my vacation, they did the right thing and gave us the rate that we were told. This course is tight and demands a straight tee shot. I’m a 16HC and this course was very challenging; too me.
Negatives: the course was extremely wet and soggy compared to the other courses we played-orange county national and falcons fire.
Positives: you get a free lunch with your round or at least we did. The food was good and the service.
If you’re not a single digit handicapper, bring lots of golf balls
The course is in great shape, the staff were friendly from the beginning to the end. I was expecting GPS on the carts and the range is a water range. If you don't like playing around houses then you may want to look elsewhere, then again the celebration is worth playing at least once. High handicap players bring some extra balls a few holes are narrow and the water hazards are in all the right places. I played in a scramble and we shot 8 under. I will return to see what I can shoot.
I liked the course layout and the undulations around the course. Par 5's were really nice. The fairways were super wetso if you ended up on far end of fairway (further from cart path) it was a long walk to the cart to get a club if you needed to swap clubs. The greens were so hard and full of white sand or fertilizer that they were unreadable. I landed several on the green on my approach and poof id see sand go up. Greens were like a rock and fastest i have ever played. I wouldn't play here again till they grow the greens.
The course was beautiful and challenging. The undulating greens were in pristine condition, and the fishing ospreys were an excellent sight-seeing bonus. The only issue was the ranger urging us to speed up a couple times when we were waiting for the green to clear on every approach.
Great course. Well maintained and challenging layout.
Absolutely wonderful course! The greens are impeccably well kept and there wasn't a single brown spot on the course. The Pro-shop and events staff were great to work with.
GREAT EXPERIENCE
Love this place

This place is a MUST visit for golf in the Orlando area
The course was in great shape. Greens were fine. Everyone was professional we talked with. Really a nice place to play. However the pace of play was bad. We were scheduled for 110pm and finally got off the #1 tee at 125pm. We waited on every shot. Got to the 1st par 3 on the front and had 3 foursomes waiting. A marshal was explaining they had some shot gun tourney that went off in the morning. Obviously course management. We finished in pitch dark with some light from the homes across 18. 5 hours 45 minutes. The course is 5 star. Pace of play 2. For this reason alone I will never be back.
