I am installing a septic system on my property and called to ask for pricing. Other companies have provided me pricing but they wont provide because I am not a certified contractor. You have to be a certified installer to install a system in this state. So my plan was never to buy and install myself. My concern of course is that I don't want the contractor to buy and mark up significantly the system. The guy was nice, but this is a bit ridiculous. I would encourage other people to price systems from another company.
