I came Back after being dissatisfied at my last attempt. The evening started with getting shuffled to another table while our waiter rudely commented that I couldn’t sit at that table because he was expecting a 5 top. The next thing that happened was that my grouper sandwich got delivered with two bottom buns and my guest was delivered two top buns . The manager came over and said I hear you have a bun problem. She said she would buy us a round of drinks and dessert. She said looks like you have the bun thing figured out. We decided not to order dessert and they delivered it anyway which we appreciated but I cannot recommend this place.

I found the food to be good but nothing memorable (I wouldn’t return for the food) - Had to send my soup back the first time because it wasn’t hot. I also had a Cobb Salad - which was good though a little light portion-wise.

Atmosphere was nice - very clean, cool looking place. Great location in DTSP.

Service was good but again nothing to tell my friends about. For the price I had expected more.

If it was for food alone I would have given it 5 stars. Butmy waiter (Joseph) was lackluster. I waited for him to even get to me. The hostess was the one who brought me my one and only glass of water. Another waitress saw me looking around for Joseph and asked if I needed anything and brought me salt and pepper. In fact the next time he came to my table after dropping off my food was to pick up my plate and bring my check. I saw him pass by me numerous times to check and recheck his other tables however. I pray the fact that I was the only person of color there was not the reason why my waiter had a lack of interest in my needs. With all that being said I still left him a $10 tip on a $25 bill because I know the industry. I ordered the Prime Rib Hash it was superb. Thank you for the fantastic food.

Love Cassis. Me and my dog come here just about every weekend for breakfast and coffee. However, our favorite part, the music, apparently recently changed. They used to have the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nora Jones, Etta James & other soul artists playing lightly overhead while reading my book. The new stuff isn’t terrible — I’m really just hoping the owner sees this review and makes the change back because we really do come every weekend.

Otherwise, awesome food and wait staff and can’t beat the ambiance.

I enjoy coming to this restaurant. Among their hearty menu they have nice light options. Their fruit salads and smoothies are my favorite. I also really enjoyed their arugula and lentil salad. GREAT bartenders that create exceptional cocktails. Nice white wines by the glass for sunny afternoon outside.

Enjoyable atmosphere. Ate outside in the shade and had the pancakes for breakfast, they were a bit heavy but otherwise good. Food came fast but otherwise service was a bit on the slow side but good.

I ordered the smoked salmon egg white omelette. The dish was amazing, the goat cheese set it off. I also had some of my friend's dish. She ordered the crab cake Benedict. The flavors from that dish were amazing as well. We cleaned our plates and even finished the breakfast potatoes.. which I never finish elsewhere. The mimosas were great. Overall great service from Ray Sunshine :) and I will be back again!

I have been here several times for breakfast and brunch. It never disappoints. If you are there at breakfast time, their breakfast potatoes are to die-for and their croissants are phenomenal. The prices are high but the service and quality of food are really 5-star.

Consistently fabulous food and great service. Lovely French bistro vibe inside and lots of covered outside tables. Brunch, lunch and dinner plus a wonderful bakery. Don't miss this downtown St.Petersburg gem.

When Cassis first opened, it was amazing. But over the last few years it has gotten progressively worse. I went a couple of days ago and ordered the three egg breakfast (which is 11.50$ and you only get a side of potatoes) and a side of bacon. I've never sent food back until then. The eggs had a ton of oil on them, I got a few potatoes, and the bacon was sticking together like it would if you left it out for a couple of hours. On top of everything, it was all cold. To charge that much for what you get, is highway robbery. It was disgusting.

I came here about a week ago for brunch and I'm surprised it took me so long! I loved the interior and the food was superb.

Cassis is located on the busy Beach Drive, so sometimes parking to get here can be a little hectic. I was lucky enough to be able to score a sweet spot near the restaurant and my friend and I were able to get a table right away.

From the moment you walk in, Cassis takes you back in time -- in a good way. The restaurant plays Frank Sinatra and a lot of old tunes. The decor is really bright and upscale.

For brunch I had an egg white omelet which was filled with asparagus and goat cheese, topped with smoked salmon. I opted for a side of onion rings. Everything was really delicious as far as the meal goes. We were even brought a small order of bread and some banana muffins prior to our meal, which were also delicious.

The onion rings were a big hit actually. They were the perfect size and the aioli dipping sauce the server gave us for the onion rings was perfect.

Prices are pretty standard for a midscale brunch.

    Service was quick and friendly.

    I would definitely come back!

Looks fancy, food was 'meh. Service was also lacking. Overpriced. Not busy, but service still slow. The potatoes that came on the side were not even warm. Asked to bring warm ones they were slightly warmer. Just tasted yuk, like potatoes that you get off a buffet table. 3/4/17 9 AM.

Small meager portions, unimpressive food, but very overpriced. Went in hungry, waited forever to be served, and left very unsatisfied. Don't waste your time or money.
