I was excited to try this place out but it was just okay. I ordered an omelette that said it came with bacon and sausage and when I got it, all it had were potatoes and veggies. When I asked the server she brought my food back to the kitchen and brought it back out immediately and said the chef said he made it correctly. I had to ask for their menu again and point out on their menu that it came with bacon and sausage and that was when she brought me a side of bacon and sausage. It seems like the chef doesn’t even know the menu, disappointing to say the least and I probably won’t come back.

We eat at Casa Cortes at least twice a week. Ruben, Edith and staff do a great job! Always ready to please.
I love the peach margarita that Edith makes special for me.
They have a new fish filet salad that top chefs would praise.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

So this was our place to go to good Mexican food 🥑 but the last 4 times we got it to go the food was blah, we live 4 miles away and the food is cold not even a room temperature by the time we get home , today 6/17/23 we told them no red sauce on the enchiladas just queso on top and guess what? We got both 👎 this food s not worth the 40 bucks for these 2 meals .. we really liked this place when they first started, but the last few times plus today we won't be going back .

I know the cost of food has gone up but still , it not worth our time going back here .

We frequent this place, definitely a nice little hole in the wall restaurant with great staff.

Hidden Gem! Took the family and was very happy with our food. I had the burrito terasco and loved it. My son had the combo platter and everything was hot and delicious. Highly recommend if you live in Carbon Valley.
