This establishment is cute and homey. 100% family owned and operated. The owners even make the deliveries themselves!
My husband and I had a quiet, delicious meal. Pizza was so much better than the chain places. The quality of the food was great.

Ok so this hole in the strip mall place is actually pretty delicious and I love the old school, Italian, no nonsense or frills ambience its good food, cooked fresh, with a friendly, family owned face.

So I want after bowling at Bowlero today. I purchased the $2.75 (+tax is $2.96 or something like that) special of spaghetti and garlic bread. The portions were amazing. Although it could've used a bit more sauce, the food was great, and the garlic bread portions were outstanding! I will try to be back whenever I can. Nice little eatery, although I find it sad that there were no customers.

When I arrived, they had no customers. I order the daily special (lasagna) and the only employee there seemed not interested in making the lasagna since she told me it would be a long wait. I asked how long it would take to prepare any other dishes and she said it would also take a long timeI guess they don't want customers! Finally received the lasagna and the meat sauce was good but all the flavor was on top, hardly anything in the layers underneath except for some white sauce trying to be passed off as ricotta cheese.

Everything is excellent! The Moosolini may be the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. I will definitely be back!

Tiny place and awesome food. Got the super deluxe pizza. Seriously,the best around. Going to work my way through the entire menu. So glad I randomly found this place.

Really good, old fashioned pizzeria. Plan on carryout. While there are a few tables, this is more of a traditional "call ahead, and get it to go" kinda place.
I'm from Chicago, and to be honest, pizza in California has always been a total let-down, but Angelo does a respectable job The sauce has flavor, the crust has texture, and the toppings are abundant.
Every time we've been there, our pizza is just coming out of the oven, and is piping hot for the drive home.
Angelo is a great guy & one of the last in the area to serve-up a real, home-made pizza experience.response / report this review -

My husband and I love family owned businesses and don't mind dining in a "hole in the wall". We adore Italian food and had seen the coupons for a family special for years and wanted to give this restaurant a try. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday night--soon it became obvious why. Our order consisted of a large 3 topping pizza, one order of spaghetti with meat sauce, one order of lasagna, anti pasta salad and garlic bread. There was no soda vending machine-- we ended up buying a large bottle of Pepsi to save a little money over purchasing cans of soda-- still ridiculously over-priced. We received paper cups with no ice--and it seemed to take forever for those to arrive at our table. The salad was pitiful --mostly iceberg lettuce. The pizza was worse than Chuck-E-Cheese--although it did have abundant toppings. My 8 year old daughter, who loves any kind of lasagna, was only able to eat a couple of bites of her dish. The spaghetti was ok. The best part of the meal was the garlic bread. We feel really bad for the couple running this restaurant -- I'm sure they mean well but it takes a much greater effort and keen business sense to run a competitive restaurant these days. I don't think 2 people can handle the job -- you have to spend money to make money. I don't get the 4 star reviews and really don't understand how this establishment has survived this long. Our only thought is that it changed ownership recently. Go to Mama's and Papa's in Vista instead -- they have spectacular service and the food is better than any Italian restaurant in San Diego County.

Unbelievable pizza. Great people. Right next Domino's. Amazing that people would go there instead of authentic delicious pizza. You have to try it. They even deliver. What else do you want?
