  This is a beautiful, quiet place to go for a stroll. However there really isn't much to do here for families. There isn't any play equipment and you can't go inside any of the buildings. I'd like to visit again when the house is open.

  Pat in the front office was so nice to talk to / get some history on the park from. The park is a nice place for a walk with the family (not strenuous at all). Cool thing about the park is the history behind it. The dam broke a few years back so the park is still recovering from that incident.

  Dam broke so the water used to be higher. If you've ever wanted to see what the bottom of a cypress tree pond looks like now is the time to come

  Its a wonderful place, it has some beautiful scenic views. There are signs maintained and different spots, places to see! Its best for those that want to enjoy a quiet walk or stroll.

  A nice little historical walk. It's beautiful, peaceful and serene. It was interesting to see the big shallow bottoms of the swamp trees. Not much for small children except fresh air and exercise.

  Love this state park! Many walking paths and a wonderful Lake with old building to walk around. Perfect place for a nice stroll.
