They took great care of my dog and didn't want to see her go. We will bring her back for our next vacation!
Awesome place, they are adding on for more boarding. 4 1/2 acres of leash free park! They are awesome!
Best place to board your pets in all of North Carolina!
We will always use this kennel. They love our pups
This place is awesome and the staff is super nice, but their cancellation policy is ridiculous, 30 days is a bit much. I scheduled my appointment on Monday and cancelled on Wednesday and i am required to pay $30, no thanks. Also, the 1pm pick up and drop off is very inconvenient. Very few people leave for or return from vacation at these times. I love the location of this place (1 mile from my home), but unfortunately I'll have to find a new pet resort that is more accommodating and realistic.
You can't find a better place or people to care for your "precious babies". I take my cocker spaniel every chance I get. If I can't take her there, then I will not take her anywhere else. I have canceled vacations, that is how special this place is. If there was a place for more stars I would post them.
The staff is professional and I love that we have access to our Chico 24/7. They are attentive and try to make sure that your pets are treated like your children. Extremely clean facility. Our baby is extremely spoiled and the 1st day, he's pretty sad. They go in and play with him and we just can't compliment Blessed Oasis enough.
After taking my dogs to Cheryl's Best Friends Pet Salon for over five years, I decided to give Blessed Oasis a try because it's SO much closer to my home. I preface with that to show that I am experienced with groomers and think I have very reasonable and realistic expectations.
The pros of Blessed Oasis are that they are very close to my home, the staff is extremely friendly, I love the cage free grooming environment and they did get my instructions of using un-scented products right the first time. My dog seemed happy and un-stressed when I picked him up. His nails were trimmed nice and short which I appreciate because his grow so quickly. I also loved that start to finish from the time I dropped him off to the time I picked him up was only an hour and a half. That's much faster than any other groomer I've every used.
That said, I think they were a little too fast as my dog was still damp when I picked him up. As great as these others things were that I mentioned, I am primarily paying for the actual grooming service and I would only give that three stars. It seems like such an easy thing to take an extra 10-15 minutes and make sure the animal is fully dry. If I wanted my car or my home to smell like wet dog, I'd bath my dog at home. He's short haired and requires no special grooming whatsoever. I just wanted him to be clean and dry - a job I'll have to finish at home.
Due to their great customer service and convenient location, I'm willing to give them another try but I do feel that I shouldn't have to specify that I want my pet to be completely dry.
The facility is well thought out. For that, I give 5 stars. The customer service on the other hand gets ZERO STARS! I had arrangements made to board my dogs and Joy was gracious enough to allow for early drop off for an extra fee. I paid the booking fee of one night. Due to Hurricane Matthew, my travel plans had to be rearranged. I went online, within a few days of canceling, to reschedule since I had a credit on my account. I was contacted a three days later stating that they could not accommodate an early drop off and that I would have to book for the night before, regardless if I chose to bring my dogs in. Thus, forcing me to pay an extra night that I didn't need to pay for since my dogs would be at home with their family. I was told that "none of their other clients had to reschedule their travel arrangements for the week after the hurricane" Joy's happy and outgoing personality turned unprofessional when I said that she should hold to her original agreement with me, her customer. I would have never gave a penny if I knew this is how it would turn out. All I needed was to be accommodated for an early drop off, as the original agreement stood. Who leaves for a day trip in the middle of the afternoon, anyway?!? (They schedule in 24 hour increments; 1300-1300) When I asked for a refund due to the indifferences, Joy stated (in a nasty way) that she sent an email saying that she would be happy to issue a refund. I was trying to politely tell her that I had not received the email and she basically called me a liar. I doubled checked, and no email was received. I sent an email asking for written confirmation of not only the intention but confirmation when the refund has been issued. I have not heard back from them. That earns Blessed Oasis a BIG FAT ZERO! Now, I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. (On a side note: I am not able to delete my credit card information out of their online system or cancel previously booked days. Now, I will have to call again! )
I am giving this two stars because the facility is exceptional. What is not exceptional is that your dog gets locked in a room for 12 hours straight. They put them to bed at 7p.m. and let them out at 7a.m., this is a long time for anybody. My dogs had to sleep with feces and urine every night and came home smelly because my 6 mo old puppy couldn't hold it for 12 hours. They also have a policy which allows them to keep your deposit no matter how much in advance you cancel your reservation. They never tell you this policy(unless you happen by it on their website), but they will tell you if you think you need a reservation you better book it because they fill up fast. I mean even hotels will refund your deposit with enough notice. Also one of my dogs who is afraid of nothing was suddenly afraid of our vacuum after coming home from this place. So in conclusion the facility is beautiful and clean and the staff tries to be accommodating, but the 12 hour lock up and the nonrefundable under any circumstances deposit is enough for me to take my pups somewhere else.
AMAZING staff! Joy accepts dogs of every breed, temper, and habits! My dogs have been there almost a week now, and he came down with a limp in his front leg. The staff called me for advice. Robert massaged my poor dogs leg and held an ice pack on him until he felt better. Chelsey made sure I was aware of the issue and they both took great care of my dog! The dogs seem happy when they are in their care, and I know I can trust Blessed Oasis staff with my fur babies! Becky, another staff member truly loves her job and spends quality time with very dog there to ensure they are given the attention they need while away from home. I can't express enough how Blessed Oasis as helped me when my dogs need a home away from home!
