Be Aware of Plush - Ultra Soft Carpeting: most vacuum cleaners will 'lock onto' the fibers and be impossible, or very difficult, to push. Height adjustment is essential on the vacuum cleaner to be used, and/or an adjustable suction relief valve. You could opt to buy a vacuum cleaner that is specially designed for Plush - Ultra Soft carpeting. Do some research.

Make sure you have it professionally steam cleaned, as your salesperson will most likely advise, or your carpet will develop odor from your not being able to vacuum it deeply, like regular carpeting. As the salesperson said, "You want the vacuum cleaner brush to just tickle the top of the fibers". So you are only able to vacuum the surface of it on your own.

I wish I had known that information before selecting this carpet.

As newly installed, I can say that it is beautiful and feels great. Our 2 room installation took 2 days. I am still finding staples.

I had great help for in home measurements and advice for the placement of tile. I also received good assistance from another sales person in the store when selecting the tile. The instillation went smoothly. Installers took the time to tuck the tile under the existing baseboard eliminating need for additional trim on that baseboard. The installation team cleaned up leaving everything as it had been when they arrived. The job was finished in a short period of time with attention to our concerns. Overall I was very pleased with this place of business.

From the moment we walked in to the big, bright showroom floor with plenty of flooring options, we felt comfortable working with our sales rep, Joe. He stayed with us through the entire process. The two carpet installers were professional, friendly, and very skilled. They cleaned up after the job was done. They were on-time. After the install was completed, Joe followed up with us again to make sure the work was done to our standard, and thanked us for our business. We are happy to recommend Carpet City as a great place for flooring, and will be having them install carpet in our newly renovated basement when the work is completed. Thanks, Carpet City!

We had an idea of what we wanted and after meeting with Doug S. he showed us our options. It can be a little overwhelming going into a flooring store, but we were very happy with what he suggested for us. We stopped in the store and called numerous times and they were always extremely helpful with our questions. We had a Kerdi shower system installed and tiled by Karl (who, by the way, is the best tile setter). Karl also tiled the bathroom floor. Due to some remodeling we are doing ourselves, we will be having our vinyl plank flooring installed in the kitchen very soon followed by carpet for the rest of the house. We will be having our best Christmas ever! We would highly recommend Carpet City. Stop in and see for yourself!

Our refrigerator quit working when we were gone for three days and we came home to a mess and a buckled kitchen floor. The floor was installed several years ago by Carpet City, and we were very pleased with it so we called them out to look at the damage and try to find the same flooring. Through time and effort by the salesman, Doug, they were able to find the same flooring and install it. We then had them replace the carpeting in the great room and install carpeting in our new three-seasons room. Through it all, the salesman was very attentive to our needs and delivery times and the installers were affable, careful and cleaned up the mess in each room. We have and will continue to recommend Carpet City to our friends for all their flooring needs.

My wife and I recently purchased carpeting for our cottage in Northern Wisconsin.

Everyone we talked to at Carpet City was extremely helpful. We were given very competitive pricing as there was a grand opening of another store in progress.

They came out and measured the rooms as promised.

The carpeting was installed a few weeks later as we requested. The installers were very courteous and did a great job. They put all the furniture back and left the cottage very clean.

I would recommend Carpet City to everyone!
