  Stopped in for breakfast AND dinner on the same day! 😂😋
  
  Visited NYC from Georgia for a week. We had breakfast one morning and it was delicious! We loved it so much we decided to come back for dinner that night. Both meals were wonderful. We were seated right after we walked in. The staff was super helpful and friendly! We will make sure to come back when we visit NYC again.
  
  We tried the famous “24-layer cake” among many other delicious plates.

  I'm typically leery to dine around touristy areas, but this diner has a good reputation and has been there for a long time so i figured they probably are doing something right. And yes, I'm happy to report that they're quite good! Are there better diners elsewhere? Sure, but when you're in this area, this may be your best bet for diner food. The egg white omelette is not greasy, salad is good (although slightly heavy on the dressing so I'd suggest you get your dressing on the side). The lollipop pancakes and waffles for the kids were delicious and passed the "kids test". Their latte is nice and strong.
  Portion sizes, as diners go, is reasonable. Prices is slightly high for a diner but it's very reasonable considering the area (Central Park vicinity).
  They do serve alcohol too, if you wish.
  Service was good and the turnaround time was fast, I'd still suggest getting a reservation though if possible.

  Haven’t been back here in awhile. Mimosas are great! My corned beef sandwich as always is amazing. My wife had avocado toast and we both enjoyed our breakfast and drinks! Oh and the staff is always so helpful and great even though they’re slammed all the time!

  My friend and I traveled from Washington State for a 6 day vacation in New York. Our breakfast at Carnegie Diner was soooo delicious, we came back every morning! The bagel breakfast sandwich was the best way to start the day and the $20 bottomless mimosas were the icing on the cake!
  
  A couple reviewers mentioned poor quality ingredients they couldn't be more wrong!
  I would swaddle a baby in those scrambled eggs and lay it to sleep on a mattress of their warm bagels in a bacon crib. Yeah, that's how good those sandwiches were! Staff was very friendly as well.
  
  Oh, New York! Your bagel game is on point! The Carnegie Diner bagels were so fresh and soft that we haven't touched a local bagel since we've been home. Washington bagels are just rock hard rings of resentment. Making us look forward to our next visit to NYC aka Bagel Heaven.

  This restaurant opened more than a year and a half right next to my store. I’ve never dine there until last week. I ordered the Central Park burger. I enjoyed that burger sooooo much ! It made me happy!
  Everything in it was PERFECT. The taste, size, texture, temperature, the bun, the FRIES AND SALAD that come with it and the price. It is my favorite burger in the world and lucky me right next door to my hat store.
  I really recommend this place. I didn’t try anything else yet but everything shows they are doing all the right things. The service was also good. And all they serve is organic so.. I love it. I hope you enjoy it too !
