Never been to an authentic Jewish deli in NY, so I can’t compare. That said, the food was pretty good but extremely overpriced. $18 for a pastrami sandwich, but to be expected given resort restaurant. A bit disappointed my pickle was not tasty or crisp, I was hoping for better. Overall, definitely not the best sandwich I’ve ever had but it will do the trick if your at the Mirage and in the mood for that kinda lunch.

Not even close. This place is the deli in name only. I had been to the original Carnegie Deli in NYC many times before it closed. This place is nothing like it.

I ordered the hot pastrami on rye and was sorely disappointed. The sandwich was small, like regular sandwich from a corner deli small, and the pastrami was precut and reheated (probably in a microwave). It was dry, flavorless, and chewy. Awful.

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because they had started closing but took in the last few people stopping by anyways. Service decent but the food was far from acceptable, even if they had been giving it away.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I thought this place was dreadful. My beef brisket sandwich was a totally flavourless mountain of beef. There was literally nothing else in the sandwich. Maybe it's supposed to be that way, but given that the beef tasted like nothing, it could have used some salar or relish. It was served on "sourdough", which was white bread, but definitely not a real sourdough. Served with a bland soup and a pickle. Very disappointing for $20. Wish I'd gone to the Earl of Sandwich.

My family and I love this place. The portions are perfectly sized (except the omelette which is MASSIVE) and everything tastes absolutely delicious. They're not too expensive, and they have the best gluten free toast I've ever had. Bonus points for being dog friendly too.
We will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Vegas. They didn't disappoint us, and they won't disappoint you.

Sad to see a great institution close down after 79 years. I am posting these photos from the original restaurant from NYC. While i still prefer the pastrami from Katz's, I am a big fan of the matzo ball soup and knish from this place

The size/quality of the deli sandwich is amazing. Me and a friend split a corned beef sandwich with fries and we still couldn't finish it. We could have had another person with us. As Mitch Hedberg would say, I should have ordered an extra loaf of bread and some other people.

Check this place out if you're in Vegas.

Starting off with the bad. The Cashier looked overwhelmed a bit only focusing on one thing at a time, secondly the portion sizes for the sandwiches was overwhelming, Way too much meat in their sandwiches making it not so enjoyable. There seemed to be a lack of communication when we were asking are orders because we had to repeat ourselves a lot. The good. The cheesecake was pretty good, nice and moist in the inside and the waitresses were polite and active.

The prices are reasonable for being in a casino. I had the central park salad which was good, but nothing absolutely amazing. The service was fast and attentive.

The half sandwich combo is overpriced and the roast beef on sourdough was dry and flavorless. The potato salad was average. Overall not worth it.

If you are going to order the classics of a NYC deli you'll get two or three meals worth of meat. Order extra bread.

Before going to the original location I thought the Mirage location was an imitation of NYC deli's in general, not a branch of the original. The original was good, but I didn't detect much of a difference from the Mirage location. Save some cab fare in NYC, this location is as good.

If you order diner items that are not NYC deli staples it feels a bit over priced.

We always come here for the Pastrami Reuben. It's a giant sandwich that you can split with one other person. The meat inside is incredibly flavorful and it goes so well with the kraut and thousand island dressing. The cheesecake is also great! Very big portion and light and creamy.

The prices here are on the high end but it's very worth it for the sandwich at least. The service was pretty quick for the sandwich but had to wait a while after we finished it to get the cheesecake for some reason. It would be better if everything came out at the same time.
