While visiting from out of state, our dog fell ill. We were lucky to meet a local lady who directed us to Caring Hands. The team there was amazing! They called our vet in Illinois, got us checked in, we went directly into an exam room, the vet tech did an amazing job, and then Dr. Cody came in, all within 30 minutes. Dr. Cody took her time, found an issue and gave us options for treatment. We go back next week for a progress check. I would give Caring Hands and staff 10 Stars if I could.

Caring Hands Animal Hospital has very friendly, caring, compationate, and knowledgeable staff. They are AAHA Certified too! I Highly recommend them. They took excellent care of our Baby Girl. Tell them Baby Girls Dad Greg sent you. 👍

Caring and compassionate office! I've been taking my dogs to Caring Hands since I moved to the area in 2011! The office is very clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly and always remember my name. Dr. Leslie is awesome! She is gentle with my dogs and always makes sure I'm informed. I have been given devastating news on two separate occasions, and Dr. Leslie was always so kind and helped me to make the right decisions. Unfortunately, two of my dogs have passed on, but I'm confident that we did everything possible to make sure their final days were humane and peaceful. The prices are a little higher than some other local places, but I feel that the service I receive is above and beyond anywhere else. I trust this office to take care of all of my animals in the future! They're the best!!

The people there treat you like you're stupid they automatically assume you can't pay for your animal and creat up your animal while you're waiting for a form of payment to arrive

Know what you're walking in to because they're counting on your naivete! I admitted my puppy to be spayed and I left feeling really foolish because I should've done more research on the procedure and its costs. Their initial quote is nowhere near your actual end cost and they don't offer to pre-examine your dog's weight or condition to offer a more comprehensive price; they just hit you at the cashier's desk.
So, don't be like me! Lookup the operation and its cost, make an exhaustive list of questions, ask for a pre-examination, and a bottom line quote. Otherwise, you'll be blindsided.
Other than that, the staff is cordial and the facilities are clean.response / report this review -

Great customer service, Great caring attitude towards the animals.
I requested an appointment through their website and someone called me back less than an hour later. They have Saturday hours which is a godsend since I work nearly an hour away from home and can't make it back to town in time to see a vet on a weekday.
The waiting area was clean with plenty of seating and we were seen promptly.
The vet handled my cat gently and seemed very good with small animals. That should be the norm but I've had experiences with vets who were just awful in the way they handled cats and small dogs and were clearly large animal vets who had to see pets just to make budget.
Fees were reasonable and the front desk staff were friendly. This was my first visit with my new cat and I'm feeling good about choosing them.response / report this review
