  I visited this lot with my partner last night. We were greeted nicely by Chris and he was friendly and patient as we were interested in looking at several of the cars. My partner had finally decided on which car he was interested in purchasing and during the test drive he had noticed that the service light had been on. After asking about when the vehicle was last serviced, Chris had reassured him that the car had actually had a service appointment scheduled for the next morning. Later on during the negotiation process, the boss had reassured him that he had "checked the records" and the car had been serviced already but the technicians "forgot to reset the service light." He also explained that Chris was new and he wasn't as educated about the cars in order to cover up his tracks.I was extremely hesitant for my partner to trust these words as the car had looked extremely dirty and like it had been sitting in the lot for months. When I had first brought this up during the test drive Chris had told me that the car washer comes every Thursday but because conveniently he"didn't come this past Thursday and because it had also rained the weekend before, the car just hadn't been washed in two weeks." So the spider webs in the trunk and the dirty interior with gum on the door handles were somehow accumulated in these past two weeks. These guys will tell you anything you want to hear to take ur money and get out of the door.

  After my partner discussed these issues with Car Depot, Chris had scheduled a car detail and service appointment for his car free of charge. The car definitely looks cleaner and while it's not perfect, it's definitely more comfortable to be driving around.(:

  I flew from Sacramento to their Pasadena store to pick up my car. I had a great experience working with Chris. He’s very professional, courteous and honest. He took care of me and I highly recommend him! The trip was well worth the great deal he was able to get me. Thanks Chris
