  Wonderful river, wonderful livery. Did the 12 miler in a kayak. Lots of Gators and water birds. Fascinating to see how high the water got during the hurricane. The Deliverance music playing as we finished was a nice touch.

  I wanted to share our great experience. We took the 12 mile day trip and I must say if you are a novice and not a young pup opt for a shorter trip. The river is beautiful and we went in November, perfect weather and the river had enough current to move us along when we wanted to relax. We had a kayak issue ( these things always happen to us) and called to request a new one and it was swapped out at our first stop. The rest of our trip was fantastic. We will go back for sure. The staff Becky, Jim and the rest off the gang were super welcoming, helpful and friendly . I wish I could remember more names to give shoutouts. Thank you for being a part of our wedding anniversary date. See you soon. Thanks

  Treated poorly. Reserved a school trip here for my high school students. We were told to be there before 10am as the bus leaves at 10am. I arrived at 9:40am. All paperwork complete. They were busy and I waited in line at the office for over 30 minutes. Only took a few minutes to hand over my money. Told me to return to our cars and the bus would pick us up there. When I returned to the car, all my students were loaded on a bus. They said a man came over from Canoe Outpost and told them to get on. 40 minutes later we are upset. No driver. No one. When we questioned the long wait time, the manager got really rude indicating that it was my fault I wasn't ready at 10. I explained I was in a huge line at the office. Said someone would be over. After 20 more min a man comes to the bus and yells for the kids to get off. This is not our bus. Seriously? Now I'm really mad. It gets worse. A girl from the office comes out on a golf cart to tell me she miscalculated and I owe more money. I pay it but ask again what the heck is going on? We've now been waiting for an hour. She'll find out. Of course, never returns. Finally, on the cusp of demanding a refund, a driver shows up. The employees in general were nice but didn't seem to know anything. The manager was rude and seemed to be blaming me for standing in line. This place needs some better systems in place. I can be patient but when you don't treat us well and even blame us for your mishandling of the situation, you get a bad review. Would have nice to get an apology for making us wait over an hour even though we had reservations.

  I enjoy taking the family down the Peace river every year. This operation runs very well, has good canoes and is a great local business. My friend has gone 20 yrs in a row! I am at 5 and look forward to each trip!

  A great experience floating/paddling down the Peace River.
  They offer an 8 mile day trip and a 12 mile day trip for the same price. They also have overnight trips available. You are loaded up on their bus with their canoe/kayak or your own vessel and hauled upstream. Their people unload your vessel and put it in the water for you.
  I thought I would take a trip down the river and just take in the scenery and wildlife, then take another trip to fish.
  My first trip down the river I thought the 12 mile was a bargain, 50% more for your money. I had never been kayaking, and after 8 miles, I was wishing I had taken the shorter trip. I took a break a little over half way to have lunch and a must needed rest. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I wore a long sleeve shirt, shorts and a floppy hat. My face and hands got sunburned because I forgot to apply sunscreen.
  The second time I took a friend and a canoe for the eight mile trip. It was much easier physically with two of us paddling, and I remembered the sunscreen. We took our time and just enjoyed the beauty of the river.
  My wife was afraid that I'd surely end up as lunch for an alligator. I saw one alligator on each trip, neither of them paid us any attention to us whatsoever. There was a lot of wildlife on the trip, mostly birds. There were several houses on the river and we were warned to avoid stopping at them. All in all, I'd advise anybody who enjoys the water to take a trip down the Peace River.
  I'm still looking forward to fishing my way down the river.
