I have been out and about dabbling in what to use as a kayak. I have been using Caney Fork Outfitters for years now and they have been MORE that patient and helpful!. For that, Thank you! When I finally grew up and wanted to get a kayak to use for more than the 3-5 times a year I asked for a Demo of a few kayaks that I was interested in. The team/family at Caney Fork Outdoors set me up with a demo to try out the kayaks that I thought would be best for me. Not pushy, and didn't keep me to a time constraint but allowed me to find the kayak that fit what I would be happy with for years to come. I sometimes think about upgrading but haven't for over 2 years now. I am still super happy and have recently upgraded my paddle making my experience super laid back and memorable with this place! Momma Bear and Ryan have been my kayak heroes allowing me to be more than comfortable and enjoy what the sport should be! Thank you to Caney Fork Outdoors!!! I have your stickers on my Jackson Bite, Hydro Flask, and Camper! You are what helps some of us drive on, keeping the happiness alive!!!

The folks at Caney Fork Outdoors are great. They helped my wife and decide on the right kayak and equipment for our new adventures on the water! They were super patient with us as we pondered the options. We drove almost 3 hours based on recommendations and it was worth it! We will consider them again for our future upgrades.

My husband and I purchased kayaks from Caney Fork Outdoors and it was the most pleasant experience ever! A big shout-out to Ryan for making it personal and sharing his advice and knowledge. We drove all the way from NC and it was worth the trip. Get you some barbecue and banana pudding too! 🙂

LOVE this place! It really is a one-stop shop for all things Kayak. Great prices and selection plus expert advice. I bought everything I needed here in one hour, Jackson Kilroy DT kayak, life vests, paddles and accessories. Super convenient to I-40 as well.

Pros: Caney Fork outdoors is top notch! The custom service and honesty about the products they sell cannot be beat; they will stand behind all of there products. Ryan and Logan there will take great care of you is what I was told by many customers when searching for my yak, damn they were not joking. CHECK THESE GUY OUT FOR YOUR SELF!!!

Cons: The damage to my wallet with the excellent selection kayaks and accessories.

And I can always count on them to be there when I need them most. They not only carry the best of the best when it comes to kayaks and accessories, they back it up with best service you could ever imagine! Don't take my word for it though. Loved working with this family business. I went into the Nashville store not knowing anything about kayaks but after spending time with Ryan and the young man in their store I felt comfortable purchasing kayaks for the family. I ended buying 5 kayaks for the entire family to start enjoying the Tennessee outdoors.

Had an amazing time doing the 6 mile kayak trip. Great prices, very friendly and personable staff. They're really quick with getting you to and from the river, and make it really easy. The store next door has anything you could need, and great food. The last time I went kayaking on the Caney I used Canoe the Caney, and had a pretty terrible experience with that company. Would highly recommend this place, and will definitely be coming back

A very friendly and instructional staff. Excellent canoes and kyaks. Was a great 6 mile canoe trip and they were there waiting for pick up and shuttle. I recommend everyone to go and take a trip with them.

This is a great little store near Edgar Evins state park and has supplies for camping and just about anything you would need to spend a day in the lake or river. The best part The bbq. Treat yourself to some of their amazing bbq and come hungry!

Joel and Janis were some of the first people we met that introduced us to kayaking aprox 2 years ago. My boy had an interest in kayaking and they took a personal interest in him and helped him make a dream come true. I really appreciate the interest and the care they have for the youth in this sport. As a family we have now come to love the sport and have had many joyful experiences that we would have never had! We stopped by the other day to visit with them and they are still doing all they can to help others enjoy kayaking! Joel and Janis really care about those they associate with and would recommend anyone who has an interest in kayaking to check them out! They are Fine People!

Janice and Joel are really fine folks to deal with. I have only known them for about a year, but the times I have been there, they are some of the nicest people I have ever been around. We got a Vapor Angler from them and they made the experience fun. We took pictures with them and it was a great experience. I'll be back to buy a couple of Jackson Kayaks from them too. Very well stocked kayak and canoe store with tons of fishing accessories for the yaks.
