This place is nice but the property is not secure! My company had 2 trucks broken into and one of them almost stolen during our 2 1/2 month stay. Many tools and items were stolen from the trucks. The rooms and building are clean and the staff are really nice, just wish they could secure their parking lot better.

The staff is great. Clean clean clean. I have worked on many hotels and stayed at hundreds and this place along with a few others from this same organization is great to say the least.

Kind of a mess, actually. Took them three tries to get my parents into their room. The first two my parents were given keys to rooms already reserved by other guests. Consider the security implications of a hotel that will hand out keys to your room to others. The shower in our room did not work. They fixed the shower the next day, but our first day we had to go to different rooms to take our showers (and the whole process delayed our morning departure).

Perfectly fine location to get around KC. Exactly what you would expect from a Candlewood Suites. Right across from Worlds of Fun. Was here on business and expected large loud parties of families and kids because of WOF. However, i did not really hear a peep. I would stay and recommend.

Impressed! They got the room ready 15 minutes early for us. Got a free upgrade to a king suite too! Clean, AC worked well, well stocked with everything you could need.

Stayed the weekend for a friends graduation from college. Hotel was clean, and pretty nice. The location isn't to bad either, especially if you're going to Worlds or Oceans of Fun. The beds we had are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. The only gripe I'd have is that they don't have a breakfast, but that's not a deal breaker for me as I usually skip it. It'd just be nice if I had my kids with me. Overall I'd definitely stay here again.

First time staying here. The rooms were great and spacious, clean, and had everything you need. The staff was great. The only thing I could say I'd like to see, odds offer a breakfast. They do have a great pantry for snacks that they work on the honor system. You just don't see that anymore in today's world. I will be back!

My recent stay at Candlewood Suites in Kansas City was so very cozy. The hotel felt in a way like a bit of a community apartment complex in how they have games and kitchen appliances you can borrow from the lobby, a pantry with a bountiful selection on snacks that can be charged to the room or simply paid for in cash on the "honor systen." Wow! It felt great to have that much trust extended from a large company like that. Plus the property had plenty of amenities like laundry room, pool, and workout room.

The suites themselves were very comfortable with a kitchenette, refrigerator, and recliner to make it feel more like home. I personally always appreciate the ability to prepare my own meals! The beds were clean and comfy and the location would be perfect if one had plans to visit the theme park located just the other side of the highway.

All in all, it is a great place to stay when you are in KC.
