As authentic and warm as any place could be. Peter treats everyone with kindness and has been making candles for 40 years. His candles burn remarkably clean for a long time and have the friendliest scent that works for any occasion or time of year.

My family has been visiting this shop for at least 40 years! We had family over from England, and took them there. The candles have a special fragrance, that make a my house feel warm and cozy! The owner is a character! Very friendly and funny! These candles also make great gifts! Ranging from $4.00-$10.00. The $10. Candle is what we always buy. They last forever!

I used to live close by in Vernon New Jersey and enjoyed being able to just drive over. Since I moved away to two different states I still order my Sugarloaf candles from Peter and Amy. Love the candles and Peter and Amy!

Best handmade candles ever. They have the best fragrance to them. The shop owners are welcoming and so very pleasant. I have been getting candles here since I was a young girl and always stop in for more when I am in the area. This candle shop is a Sugar Loaf staple!!
