  This Pics are from Durant Nature Preserve in Raleigh NC.
  Address is 8305 Camp Durant Rd Raleigh NC 27614.I asked google maps to correct this location error , but nothing has happen yet.
  This is a 237 Acres of park,mostly pine forest ,wet lands and two lakes (no personal boats allowed) lots of trails , pets on leash, Picnic shelters with grill (for rent),basketball and sand volleyball court , playground etc ..

  Our churches were able to rent out parts for a church youth camp. the staff was very helpful and friendly . I appreciate all they were able to allow the children to do. They had a blast.

  I've been to some very rundown or rustic scout camps in my day. This wasn't one of them. Seems pretty nice. My son had a good time.

  Great camp. Went for many boy scout camps and summer camps. Staff is very friendly. Facilities are great and WiFi throughout camp. Great prices at trading post and air conditioning or fans in most places. Very vibrant camp.

  Amazing summer camp for Scouts. Just the staff alone make the camp, but the facilities and offerings each year make this the place to go in my opinion.

  A little hard to find and no cellphone signal in parts but who cares?! You're coming for the nature and that you'll have in abundance. well maintained campsites and lots of amenities available so for the less outdoorsy types there's the reprieve of hot showers, flushing toilets water and ice, and pre-made fire pits.

  I might be a little biased but Camp Durant is a great place where you can make lasting memories and friends. I spend a lot of weekends at Durant and most of the summer.

  Camp Durant continues to improve their offering every year. From the activities/resources to the merit badges available -- the Occoneechee Council continues to raise the bar. They have everything from a world-class Scout dining hall to primitive camping for those that are looking for a challenge. Kudos to the entire staff.
