Was once a friendly place to visit, or so I thought. Found out the employees were disregarded, undervalued & not paid a fair wage. I’m taking my business elsewhere, seeing as how that’s the only option left for me. There’s plenty of other comic shops out there to choose from. SHAME!!!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
The owner thinks this is an opinion. False. This statement is based on truth. The owner’s main concern is only about making money, that’s it. Listening to & helping employees who’ve stayed loyal and helped build his business? NOT a concern. As long as the profit margins keep him afloat, that’s good enough for him. If this is his attitude towards the staff, imagine how it is toward the customer! It’s your money everyone; please spend wisely.
This review is for the Bowling Green, Ohio store
The Good: Clean store, good atmosphere, large selection of new comics and good prices on backing boards.
The Bad: The back issue bins are sparse. Mostly post 2000 issues in stock. Some back issue prices are unmarked and the clerk makes up the price on the spot. If you buy a book with a bag and board they will charge you a extra 15 cents per book or they keep the b&b. Personally I find this tacky especially with books that are $5 and up. Comics bags are rather expensive here.
Awesome selection, friendly staff, nice place to just wander into
I love this place. So glad it's in Adrian my favorite store. People are great and know there stuff. No posers. And the owner is well worth getting to know. Good job john
