  Course is in pretty good shape. Layout can be a bit confusing. There's power lines to contend with on the first hole. Local knowledge is definitely a plus. Enjoyed our time there.

  I've played a lot golf in the USA. Callahan G.C. is not a resort but a fun place to play. I live in central Florida and play about 150 rounds a year. I played there in mid July twice. One of the best places I've ever played. Course is in very good shape and the scenery is as good as it gets. Not a severe mountain course but more like gentle rolling hills. Family owned property since mid 1800's. Owners live on property and work pro shop and snack bar. This place is fun. Makes you glad you came out.

  Very good golf course and great management. Mr. Callahan goes out of his way for everybody who comes there. We play the course every Sunday that it doesn't rain or snow and enjoy it very much. And the rates are extremely fair. especially during the week. The greens are absolutely superb and the fairways are now growing in and turning out to be very nice.

  Enjoyed the course but very different from what I'm used tono one on hole one for a long time but wouldn't let us out early. Single guy went out, hit 3 balls off the first tee, at 10 they put two college girls (great golfers) behind us. We were sandwiched between them and a three some that took forever. Don't think I'll be back soon
