  Was there for a date many years ago. Close to Pentagon Center and, therefore, easy to get to. Food was great, service was great, and the place was clean. I remember it being pretty large so it wasn't crowded at the time. California Pizza Kitchen is one of those chains that don't FEEL like a chain as each restaurant has its own feel and look. I find that many restaurants and clubs in or near DC also seem to have a high turnover and the fact that California Pizza Kitchen is still here should say something GREAT about it.

  The service here is always wonderful, and the food is as great as you can expect from a chain of this nature. I'll definitely be a return customer for a while.

  Delicious velvet cake and chicken nuggets. Great service as well. Didn't give it 5 stars because the pizza is horrible.

  Rae, the server, was friendly and customer service focused. The restaurant was very close to closing and she made sure we were waited on and served as if it was 8pm instead of closing time.

  This restaurant has always been a great place to go when you are tired of the everyday fast food places. The food is great the bread is fresh and the service is superb.

  Compared to Champps this is better. Spaghetti seemed to taste better than Olive Garden and the servants are careful. Seems to deal very seriously unlike Champps. Bathrooms were okay, but toolet was clogged with paper towel. Pizza looks a little burnt, but otherwise this is better.

  Yeni is the best server in the world I haven't had better server at any other CPK anywhere, she is sweet, funny, and cares about all of the people she serves. I would DEFINITELY come back to have her as my server!!! LOVE U YENI!!!
