A few years ago this was a favorite of mine so when I found out that they brought back the buffet I had to go back and give it a try. So glad I did! Food was great and I love the fried shrimp. I hope he will bring back bread pudding soon too!

Authentic made with love Cajun food! Great service and the best catfish that melts in your mouth. Taking my friends here! Please come out and try this great establishment. The atmosphere is incredible. I love the decor and very clean.

Food selection was reduced compared to before. Food is no longer on the buffet cart but on table set up in a convention style buffet with candles used as heat source. Opens at 11. We got there at 11:30 and food was not warm or hot. Price for lunch is $17.99 with no pork chop, pasta or dessert (except for sweet yam...which I didn't touch). The fried fish strips took forever to come. Overall, definitely not the old Cajun king and very pricey for what you get. I had taken my coworkers there for lunch and was embarrassed with my choice. Sadly, I have to say I will not be back. I hate to leave negative review as this could hurt this place but at the same time, I felt ripped off. Hopefully, others will disagree with my assessment.

Sooo, I have mixed feeling about my experience there. I had the fried chicken, well that’s what I went there for, I found them in my search on google. I also ordered crab cakes and a beignet which they didn’t have. I asked for my chicken to be fried hard, the cook delivered on that but he also fried the crab cake and hush puppy, I substituted for the beignet too hard, it was burnt, I couldn’t even eat it. I just opened the crab cake and ate the filling. The sweet Tea was good. I ended up dining in just because I wanted to sit and enjoy my chicken and savor my hankering but that didn’t happen.

The chicken was not seasoned. He fried it, and hard as I requested then added a season on the cooked chicken. Ummmm no! It was a light season too. Speaking for me, it was not tasty! I wasn’t offered any sauce for crab cakes or the hush puppies.

Idk. Maybe if I’m over there again, I may consider trying it out. It’s possible.

Look... I know I usually post the best photos I can but the food was so good I said grace while eating and had nothing to show for it but these photos. GO in and get something, it'll be worth it! I ordered the catfish and my date had the blackened pork chop, with gumbo. Both amazing.
