  This place is absolutely fantastic. I recently learned it has come under new ownership and is shows in the most amazing ways; both service and food.
  
  They have an extensive menu with homemade fresh pressed burgers, in addition to the large selection of hot dogs. The ice cream speaks for itself with generous portions. My kids, who are picky eaters, loved their meals!
  
  I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Megan, who was delightful to converse with. I have been to this spot several times since under new ownership and there is most definitely a noticeable improvement in the quality of people working here.
  
  I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

  We had 3 different hot dog options. Good selection of pre-selected toppings. Look forward to trying some of the others and/or creating our own. Nice place. Seemed like a local favorite too. Parking behind is tight, but plenty of spots next to the park. Inside seating as well as outside.

  Great little place. Friendly people. Nice location. Good food and shakes. It is a bit expensive. $14.79 for 1 hotdogs and a shake. I don't mind tho because it's a little family owned business. But I couldn't afford to take my entire family for dinner..my kids would want 2 hot dogs each plus fries or Pierogies and a shake. It would easily cost me at least $70. So I will sneak off without them and enjoy a afternoon snack on occasion.

  Finally had the chance to make it to Mad Dogs in Macungie. I’ve been wanting to go there for a long time and I’m sad to say I won’t be going back. As you can see from the picture, nothing looks that great. The toppings did not add anything special, and the bun was a basic grocery store bun that leaves much to be desired. You can even see the avocado looks rotten and they still served it.
  
  From a place specializing in hot dogs, I would expect a lot more. While the selection is great, the quality is not. This place is over-priced and over-rated. No better than a high school football game hot dog for a buck.
