  I heard this place was amazing. I have only been here twice, but got sick both times. First off of wings then off of seafood. I will take others people word that this place is good but I will not longer be visiting.

  50 cent wing specials and relatively cheap beer for the shore. Been going here for years and keep going back. I recommend you give it try.

  This is one of those neighborhood bars/restaurants you'll find in any medium or small towns. Yet there is one exception to this regularity and that is the food.
  
  When my future wife and I come to Forked River to visit her sister and brother in law, I ALWAYS desire to come here for dinner or lunch.
  
  I must warn you It's busy Good luck finding a spot in there huge parking lot. When you enter the restaurant you'll see its PACKED with people. So many people that you'll be tempted to go to another place. Do NOT LEAVE! The food is worth the wait.
  
  I've had various on the menu here and EVERYTHING was great. If you watch Diners Drive Inns and Dives you'll LOVE this place.
  
  Why not 5 stars you may askbecause it's always so damn busy!!

  Hey, Mr/Mrs Caffrey or anyone who is tired of spending good money on below standard service, I went to Caffrey's for dinner, today, second time there. First thing I noticed was the food that was on the chair I was about to sit on, maybe mashed potatoes and some dried up food that I couldn't get up with a napkin. My husband and I noticed the young man "cleaning" the tables. He would spray something on the table and wipe crumbs onto the floor. Not cleaning the entire table. The floors on the dining side looked like there was a confetti party of paper and food. He would run his hands through his hair then hold the silverware he was placing on the tables with the same hand, touching the side you would put in your mouth. My husband discretely went to the manger, who was on the bar side of the restaurant and explained what he saw. After a few minutes she came to the waiters area and looked around to see where my husband was sitting, then went to the register. I assume to look at what we ordered and explain to all the waiters that were standing around her that we had just complained to her, because they all turned around and looked at our table. When we finished our dinner, which was not bad, she came over to ask if we wanted a dessert, on the house, we said no. I explained to her that she should have been as discrete as we were, she insisted she was. Our bill was about $69, paid in full, but we will never return to this restaurant. This place needs a manager who cares or more training.

  It was tasty & good. Pleasant atmosphere
  I was a little short on cash when it came to paying,only by $2.50,I asked to speak with the Mgr.,one guy came up,who wasn't the mgr.I began speaking,I noticed he wasn't paying attn,,so Then I had to wait while that found this guy "Mike". I told him I was $2.50,short,He Said," That's not enough to cover the bill!" I explained,"I am waiting for my alimony to come in", He said," do you have any other way of paying?"Yeah,I can Wash Dishes!
  Seriously,If this guy was in business,He just lost mine! I Will go to Perkins,The next time I want to eat out!

  I've been here a couple of times now. Had the prime rib it was excellent. I had the seafood scampi very delicious. The portions are very large for the money.

  I went here for sushi and I love sushi and never ever have encountered one that I didn't like. I ordered the two thumps up roll and 1. It smelled gross and 2. It tasted kind of like plastic and it made me not want to eat. I told them I didn't like it and they took it away. However, they still charged me 13.99 for a roll that I took a bite out of. I talked to the manager and he said it's against the policy to take away orders people don't like. For that reason I give them 1 star but if I could I would give them 0. Service is subpar and their customer service is horrendous.

  It's a very well loved local hot spot tavern and grill. Everything is delicious serving everything from steaks, pizza, sandwiches, sushi seafood, appetizers, etc. Their drinks are delicious and cleverly named. Its a nice place to bring the family as well as watch the big game. You can play several arcade games and munch on complimentary popcorn. See live bands, play trivia games and make some friends.

  Friendly service and good food. Lively bar with a separate dining room. Fairly noisy place, with a long wait during busy times. Stick to traditional fare - hamburgers, salads, etc. Usually a good selection of desserts.

  First time here 3/25/17. Went with my cousins, and it was a happy and busy place. Beth was our server, and she was prompt, courteous, and made our visit more pleasant. The food was great; Ordered a Raspberry Cosmo, and it was good. I tried a little of the Irish Egg Roll my cousin ordered, the crock of French Onion Soup, and a house salad. It was all very good. CAFFREY'S is a place to definitely hang out and have a good time with friends and family. I WILL be returning here in the future!

  One of the best places to eat in lacey. Great food all reasonably priced and I always have great service. They have a wonderful happy hour menu which includes food (wings, potato skins, bar pies, tacos, buffalo chicken dip, spinach dip, etc.) As well as drink specials. You can't go wrong with anything you order-from dinner items to sandwiches and wraps. They added the sushi portion a few years agoI personally am not a fan of Caffreys sushi, but I do know some people who like it.

  Nice selection of food at very reasonable prices. They have a lot of specials each month that can be found on their web site.
