The fried pineapple chicken was excellent but if you go with a group make sure to check the the bill especially if you are paying cash they added like $10 more on top of getting a 20% tip.

Really good lunch bento box. Lots of choices and quality is good. Only issue that I find is that they open at 11:30 and not 11:00 like all the other restaurants nearby. For us early lunchers it can be difficult to make it here within my lunch break time.

This was our first visit here. The lunch specials can't be beat.

The flavors in the meals we ordered are beyond amazing. I ordered drunken noodles off the lunch menu, and while it wasn't meant to have spice, the staff accommodated my request for more spice in the dish. It did come out to my desired level of heat and flavor.

The flavors of the Thai dish did not take away from the deep and fresh flavor of the spicy tuna roll included in my lunch. I found the sushi a refreshing compliment to the meal, balancing out complex seasoning with simple and refreshing ones.

A job well done by hard working and attentive staff. We will happily go here as often as possible.

I love the Drunken Noodles. That's my go to dish here. I prefer the Thai to the Sushi here. They have great lunch specials. If you live in the area this should be one of your spots.

Thai Food + Japanese Food, can it get any better?!

Being new to the North County San Diego area, I relied on Yelp for advice on where to have lunch. Of course, my usual self wanted Thai food and when I saw Cafe de Thai Cuisine AND Sushi, I was sold!

I came in starving and wanted to try both the Thai and Japanese food. The Thai & Sushi Combo Bento ($10.25) was perfect to order! I got the green chicken curry with a California roll. The bento includes soup (I believe it was Tom Yum), salad, and vegetable tempura (zucchini, onion, broccoli, and carrot). The food served was definitely more than enough for one person but was delicious! I think I finished it all.

In my opinion nothing can beat the curry my parents make, so I'm always hesitant when going out and ordering curry. It's usually too thick or too coconut-y. This one doesn't beat my parents' but I thought it was very good and that says a lot. It comes with green beans, bell peppers, and bamboo shoots inside. As far as the Japanese food, the vegetable tempura was crisp and the California roll satisfied my sushi craving (you really can't mess up a California roll).

The restaurant is pretty big. They serve alcoholic beverages and have a sushi bar. I'll definitely be back and maybe try some sushi rolls next time! P.S. My server was really nice and helpful, also. :)

The Thai food is really good but the sushi is amazing. The salmon is best I have had so far in San Diego county. All the chefs are awesome and extremely friendly. I love this place.

Never been disappointed here.
Hands down the fave sushi spot of my crowd. The place I bring visiting family to make them jealous of my decadent Cali lifestyle. And the sushi chefs love a good joke, too.

Highly recommended!
