Homemade chips were great as well as the sweet potato fries. We happened to go when they were training new kitchen staff so we had some issues with getting our order correct, but the staff was very apologetic and worked hard to correct things.
Wow what a great place! Came by around 7pm on Thanksgiving and they were open. Ward made some wings for us (which were yummy) and poured drinks too! He did a great job bouncing back and forth. There was a girl that was helping and very friendly. I will be back with friends!
The bartender was totally awesome and very friendly. She the nicest bartender I've ever had. All the bartenders are great here but Sam is the best.
Ward is the bomb and it's such a chill atmosphere. Food is so inexpensivethe quality is excellent and large portions. My favorite spot in town. (Those deep fried brownies though.)
The burgers was amazing! The one thing I think was bs is that they charge you 1.75 for iced tea and then if you want a refill it’s another $1.00 total bs.
Amazing food, everything is excellent. I have tried every burger and don't regret any of them.
Cool sports bar and grill! Don't miss the phenomenal garlic, bacon, cheeseburger with cheese curds and garlic mayo with cheddar! Great selection of beers and tvs, however mostly Wisconsin games, lol! Highly recommend!
Went here on a Friday night. The place was busy but not full. The service was adequate and the food was OK as well. However, I left there feeling like something was just missing. The theme of the bar just didn't jive and there was no character. An OK place for a bite but not anything I would go out of my way to see.
In town visiting, looking for a Friday fish fry. My husband ordered the perch dinner for $12.50. His order came and it was 2 med size filets, yes that is one perch fish. We live close to Milwaukee and have never been charged so much for so little amount of fish. We even asked the waitress if the amount was a mistake. She said no. We told her we couldn't believe the size of the order. She said we've been telling the owner that people are complaining but he won't do anything about it. I ordered the cod dinner for 7.99. That was a nice dinner.
We started our experience sitting at the end of the bar bad choice the strong scent of urine forced us to move. It took 20 minutes to get our drink order was'nt very busy maybe 12 people. Several other groups came in after us all ordered food before we had drinks ordered. We were patient as they said they were "short staffed" for the day. While we waited we seen more than 1 order returned due to being wrong. As we sit here 40 minutes into this venture our food arrives. Thankfully some nice gentleman came in and bailed them out. Fortunately the food was VERY good! I would rate this place a strong 5 if I based it on the food and the customer service of the one gentleman (2 black eyes). Unfortunately my experience was wrecked in the beginning. Would love to come back again and try some day.
Good food Great burgers and occasionally live music
Great food and nice servers. They had some miscommunication with the kitchen but properly handled the situation and quickly resolved the issue. However, some miscommunication between servers made for an all around ok experience. They play great music and the place has a very upbeat and friendly vibe to it.
One of my favorite places in the Rhinelander area. Excellent walleye on Fridays. It can be very busy, especially during special parties, but the service and drinks are always good.
Peanut butter, apple-wood smoked bacon burger. Enough said. I've had it at least 3 times already. Not a big fan of their traditional fries (too soft) but their sweet potato fries are worth the $1 upcharge. Bucketheads is 3 steps up from a typical pub and 2 steps down from an expensive sit-down restaurant. My preferred local meet-up spot. Great food, good beer, neat atmosphere (a little on the dim side), and plenty of screen time if you're hoping to catch the game.
