Cafe Thirty-A is the best restaurant in the 30-A area! The atmosphere is unique; the service is superb and the food is absolutely fabulous! if you're looking for a place to have a special event, reception or rehearsal dinner this is the only place! The Fish Bone Room has all the amenitiesunique art work, bar, comfortable seating, and a great view. We highly recommend Cafe Thirty-A!

Cafe Thirty-A was on my bucket list a few years ago. It didn't disappoint then and it surely didn't this trip either. The special buy 1 get one 1 entree during an earlier dinner time is a fabulous way to get people into the restaurant. They also do $5 martinis (certain selection) on Tuesday which was great. Also, the best server ever, Kari, works there!!

This is the best upscale dining in the 30A area. They have the service right, the food is always fresh and ever changing with the season, and they have 2 for 1 entree pricing between 5-6pm, and $5 martinis all night on Thursdays. This place has ambiance and doesn't feel like it went up last week. Make reservations though, because we aren't the only ones who realize this is the best fine dining spot on 30A! (Note that desserts are right at $10 each and are wonderful to share!)

Pan Seared Ahi Tuna-The best entree I have ever had. We have been eating here for over 10 years, each year on vacation. Every time it is 5 stars

Best restaurant in the area. Excellent food , service and ambiance. The choices span wide range and every dish is a nearly gormet recipe. Prices are high - in line with the superb quality of the food. We go there every chance we get!

I originally thought this place might be too fancy but it's very comfortable. My husband and I had dinner around 5:30 during the 2 for 1 entree deal. Everything we ate was amazing. ( crab cakes, lobster mac and cheese, serloin and cheese grits) Our server was Matthew. He was so knowledgeable about the food and wine. Definitely request him!

Where to start. We loved this place. Very nice atmosphere, amazing food with unique flares, excellent and attentive service to name a few! We may have just found ourselves a new fave. Thanks to Sarah for giving above and beyond service.

Cafe 30a is one of the best places I've ever eaten at. My favorite margarita in the country was gristmill in Texas until I had one at Cafe 30a. There is a 3 star below about them. Something is either wrong or the person just cannot be pleased. Sometimes, being a pretentious pain in the butt is just hard so you have to take it out on someone else. We have been at least 10 times in the last 8 months and every time was unique and flawless. From the food to the service, pure perfection! We get Jacob as our waiter most of the time because we ask for him. He always knows what we want and takes care of us. You will not be disappointed!

Even though the restaurant was extremely busy when we went (a Saturday night) and we had no reservation, the manager was still able to seat us near the bar immediately at a small table. The waitstaff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that our entire experience was pleasurable and memorable. The drinks were wonderfully​mixed, the food was both delicious and beautifully presented, and the dessert was absolutely amazing. This is not a place for small children, though, and the dress code is decidedly "dressy-casual". Reservations are STRONGLY recommended. There is valet parking available. The prices are commensurate with this type of restaurant. With drink, appetizer, entree and dessert, expect to spend at least $65 per personbut the service and food are well worth it!

Incredible food and service. Took advantage of their daily special. From 5 - 6 buy one entree get the second free. On Tues they also have martinis at the bar, $5. Cafe 30-A would compare with any of Charleston's finest restaurants. Went back the next evening and had this lobster dish, delicious and unlike anything we ever had before!

Definitely our favorite place to eat on 30A. The food is amazing and the service is over the top. Fine dining without the stuffiness. You have to try the tuna. It's out of this world.

This is hands down the best place to dine in the area! The food is incredibly delicious, the staff is fantastic and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. My husband and I went here on our last night of vacation, and it was our favorite place by far. The truffle mac and cheese is just incredible and I absolutely loved the filet mignon. Dessert is also a must. Cannot say enough about this restaurant, it's a must try!
