Had the duck confit hash. Very tasty. The menu is small, but complete. Good service, quickly sat and food delivered even though busy. Would recommend.

I ate here the morning of The Monumental Marathon. It was busy but they handled it well. I ordered an egg sandwich which was bigger than I had expected but it was bland and felt it was overpriced. The staff acted very pretentious. I believe they were violating the law by not allowing people to use the restroom that hadn't purchased anything. From my understanding if you are open to the public you have to allow usage of your restroom facilities.

I've lived in Indy for a year and a half and had somehow never been to Cafe Patachou--it might now be my top choice for brunch. You can tell how fresh everything is. The omelette I got was huge and very filling. Having the self serve coffee with different options was unique and convenient as well

I'll start with the less exciting news - the service was mixed. I came on Easter Sunday a little after 9a and because I was by myself and there was no wait. My waiter was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and once I ordered my food it came quickly. But he wasn't great at remembering smaller requests like lemons, butter, to-go containers.
However, on my way out I was thanked for coming in and wished a good day!

Now, on to the food. I ordered the Ricotta Stuffed French Toast with bacon-infused maple syrup and a side of fruit. I don't think I've had french toast in at least two years, so this tasted particularly amazing to me! It's two thick slices of toast with a layer of sweetened ricotta in between and more than a dusting of brown sugar on top! The texture was perfect! And the ricotta in the center made the consistency similar to a custard-y bread pudding! The maple syrup was a nice touch - the bacon flavor wasn't overwhelming, but it was fun that there were actual chunks of bacon.

I took a slice of carrot cake to go and enjoyed that was pretty good. The was very dense and moist - just the way I like it. The icing was different - definitely a beautiful buttery icing, not the strong cream cheese that I expected. I'm a big icing fan, so I would've liked a much thicker layer. But I certainly appreciated the very large portion size!

So they claim they're famous for omelets, but I've had better at the Waffle House. Ordered one with bacon, tomato and cheddar. Bacon was burn to a crisp, cheddar was sparse and not melted, and the eggs were cooked into a patty shape and then rolled up like a burrito, which makes the fact that they used eggs suspect. I think the only reason this place has the reputation it does is because people like to brag that they've eaten there.

Excellent service and awesome food. Coffee is self serve which is genius. No more waitresses topping off your coffee when you already have the perfect cream to coffee ratio. Just get it when you want it. Even one to go. Will definitely return

Delicious brunch place in the heart of Indy. It is in a super convenient location for going to the convention center, and has great food. They have a lot of delicious food options as well as drinks, such as mimosas. The omelet I had was very good, the service was good, and my coffee mug was never empty. I would recommend this brunch place to anyone that is in the area.

We went on a mini Road trip to Indianapolis. My Sisters and I had breakfast there and let me tell you it is the best place I've been to. The waiter was AMAZING, The food was DELICIOUS. Great location best place ever. Wish we had one here. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Sat at the counter and had The Omelette You Can't Refuse (potatoes, bacon, cheese, and sour cream) which was very nice. The cinnamon toast and cup of fruit were great sides but I definitely didn't need four slices of toast. The coffee is self service, which allows you to sample a few of their blends. I had the Mexican coffee with my breakfast and took a cup of toasted pecan (very similar to hazelnut) to go. The coffee to go was a nice bonus to a solid brunch.

    Bad service, mediocre food

No smiles (but maybe that's normal in Indianapolis), no coffee service ("there's the coffee bar, help yourself "). My Cuban Breakfast was a joke: they just piled small portions of dry rice, dry beans and grated cheese that hadn't even melted plus a fried egg on top of each other, slapped a spoonful of sour cream on and put half an avocado on the side - with no flavor of salt whatsoevera 10 year old could have done a nicer job.

I can highly recommend First Watch - great service and great food.

I have been to this location several times in the past few years and I remember it being good before but today changed my mind. I enjoyed the Cuban Breakfast and my boyfriend enjoyed his Hippie omelet. But I ordered the Apple fritter French toast ($9.95) and I received ONE piece of bread with a fruit cup. Every other breakfast place serves about 3-4 slices of bread with a french toast order and I never ordered a fruit cup! I told the waiter that it seemed rather small and he said that it was the normal size. This waiter was rather slow and was not very nice to us at all. His name is Adam. Also, he didn't check up on us and ask us how our food was or anything. I switched to the croissant french toast and it was a little bit bigger but still only just one piece of bread with a fruit cup. I do not think I will be coming back due to the rude service and crazy small french toast portions (I get this at every single breakfast place!).

We had the best Porterhouse steak and navy bean soup. Everything on the menu is locally sourced. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable. Ooh and don't forget to try the elderberry gin and tonic. My new favorite.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The food was so good. Every single bite had a kick of flavor, but nothing overwhelmed any other food. Our waitress catered to us perfectly. She recommended soft foods to me because I had my wisdom teeth out, and when I couldn't eat the fruit she got me toast also! Having unlimited coffee of all different flavors was also great! The environment was a bit tight, but very comfortable.
