We stayed in the Cherokee cabin. The bed felt like a rock. The WiFi was horrendous. We had no cell service even with WiFi calling enabled. I forgot my phone charger and tried to call them. They're near impossible to get in touch with and we eventually just gave up trying. Next time I visit Hocking Hills I will be avoiding the Cabins in the Pines. I only give a 2 star review because the cookies were delicious, and the place was moderately clean, including the hot tub.
Greatest place for a getaway, cabins are beautiful and very well maintained. No need for pans and skillets, just grab family and go.
Hot tubs are waiting . Been coming here for four years and already making plans for the next visit. Owners of this place are the BEST. Firewood provided, just bring food and stay awhile..
We stayed in the Shawnee Cabin on February 11th 2017 as a make shift Honeymoon it was super cozy and it was way better than I expected can't wait to return HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR A FAMILY OF 4 OR UNDER perfect for a couple
Wonderful cozy cabins. We arrived later in the evening but the lights were on and there was a plate of cookies waiting for us on the table. Our cabin was well stocked with everything that might be needed including small appliances cookware and dishes, some kitchen staples like salt and pepper, cooking spray, some spices and even some coffee. We would highly recommend Cabins in the Pines to anyone considering visiting the Hocking Hills area.
Beautiful place! Went to HH for the first time for my birthday. The cabin looked just as nice in person as it did in the pictures online and there was a birthday card and small cake. The hot tub was relaxing and my bf and I enjoyed watching the rain from the back porch swing and grilling/roasting marshmallows when it was dry. Can't wait to go back!
Awesome! Loved it here with our family.
It was wonderful, just spent this past weekend in the Cherokee Cabin. It was everything and more that I expected. Very peaceful, clean, has everything you'll need but the food. Will definitely be back.
Been staying here since 2003, come back twice a year now - once in the Spring and once in the fall. Even honeymooned with my wife here. Stayed in all the cabins at least once. Staff is friendly and attentive if you need extra towels, tp, coffee filters, etc.
Not sure about the other reviews, as you're in the woods. Contact with animals while rare are to be expected. Had a mouse once a few years ago. Staff provided traps and within a day, SNAP. Good bye mousey.
We'll be returning for years to come until the day we can afford to buy our own property down here along with a cabin.
