Great place to start. They habe beginner classes up to advance. Enjoyed three time i spent here. The food was a good variety. Defiantly will be going there again.

In my opinion Buttermilk Ski Area is a favorite among locals and tourists alike it has a great atmosphere for all who enjoy the outdoors in Colorado’s exceptionally beautiful Rocky Mountains, and with great food and drinks at the bottom I would give it ten stars,’ if possible if you can come here definitely make it happen you will not regret it

This is the best mountain to start skiing. I went there with friends who haven't skiing in there life and in two days they were skiing through all the mountain. The lifters are really nice and there's good places to eat. If you go for the xgames you should definitely go to the big air event.

I purchased a snowboard lesson, my instructor was Rob, he was so great and I learned so much that I bought an extension for the following day! Everybody at buttermilk was so nice and accommodating, I will definitely be back for more. Oh, and more importantly, I had so much fun!

Best place of all the Aspen mountains to learn. Buttermilk has the best beginner terrain I have ever seen blues and greens are wide enough to feel comfortable learning on but there is always something there to challenge as well. I also like that it is mostly beginners and lessons so when skiing with my kids I don't have to watch out for crazy fast advanced skiers being too close.

Buttermilk is great for beginners and families. Very easy terrain and very friendly staff. The park here is also amazing, the winter x games are hosted here.

It's a beginner mountain, but no one seems to go here, especially in the trees. I had a lot of fun here. The terrain park is extensive and diverse!

Buttermilk Ski Area. Perfectly groomed greens, blue and black diamond runs await you to enjoy. Never crowded, except during X-Games, this ski area is very user friendly. Arrive by bus or car to a small, quant base area. Ski shop, ticket office, rest rooms, restaurant, ski and snowboard school and the Inn @ Aspen Hotel. Fabulous begginer area at the base. World renowned kids ski school. Excellent Cafeterias, top and bottom.
10-min. From downtown Aspen. You'll love Buttermilk !!!
