Napleton Hyundai of Carmel is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had, and this is my 4th Hyundai! Brittany called after I filled out forms online and she was very polite and helpful, taking all my information on what I was looking for and my trade-in. Shawn and Steve were great to work with, they were not pushy car salesman like you think of when buying a car. They had a car ready for me test drive when I got there, answered all my questions, and helped me make the decision that was best for me, not the bottom dollar. In one visit, I knew what I was getting for my trade-in and what the payment would be on several different models. It was quick and easy, and I drove home in a brand new car with everything I wanted, and at the payment I wanted. I won't go to any other Hyundai dealership again! Thank you all so much for a great experience!
I bought a new to me car on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving from Kevin Clark. My father and I walked in nervous that we would have to endure another smooth talking, no negotiation sales consultant. What we experienced was the complete opposite. Kevin was genuine, kind and committed to getting me the best pricing he could. I strongly recommend Kevin if you are in the market for a new or used car - you can't miss him - his desk is the first one you see when walking into the dealership.
After shopping around at several other Hyundai stores in the area and getting the run around I finally came up Napleton Genesis. I worked with Steve and he was very transparent throughout the whole transaction and listened to every need that I had and followed through with the right car! The new General Manager Sean helped with the process as well and between the both of the them the whole process was actually fun and exciting. I love my new G80 and would definitely recommend anyone to go see the new guys in town at Napleton Genesis!
I came in around 5:30pm (30min before they closed) just to take a peak at a car I wanted to buy eventually.. I have only ever had issues at dealerships where I am there for hours to get a car. They didn't pressure me into buying when I went but I fell in Love with the car for an amazing price and how clean it was that I wanted it now. They got me my car in 40 min! And made sure I got into the price range I needed. The staff was wonderful and so kind even after they closed. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. Ask for Cathy! She was great.
I needed a new car and was very stressed out about the whole car buying process, as I've never had to go through this before, but as soon as I walked into Napleton Hyundai of Carmel and met with Steven Larson, who was all smiles and laughing, all my stress was put at ease. Steven made the entire process from start to finish so incredibly quick, easy, and most of all fun. He doesn't push anything on you just to make a sale, he truly wants you to find the best fit, regardless of price. Steven will be the only salesperson I see from here on out, he really is the best!
If you are looking for a car, I highly recommend checking out Napleton Hyundai of Carmel & make sure to ask for Steven Larson! You won't regret it!
My issue, I was leased a vehicle, with a verbal commitment by the sales person at the time, and another acknowledgment by the new sales person and manager for the new transaction, that any and all fees upon lease turn in would be waived if only we purchased a new Hyundai.
Roughly three years ago, my wife and I decided to shop for a new car. We went to Butler Hyundai to shop around. The sales person at the time pushed leasing a car. We were extremely hesitant to do so, as we were aware of the turn in (disposition) fee. The sales person sold us on a lease by telling us that so long as we purchased or leased a Hyundai from Butler Hyundai, we wouldn’t be charged any extra fees for turning in the lease. We were sold. No additional fees, low monthly payments, what did we have to lose?
Well, a few months back, we turned in the lease. At that time the sales person told us that the disposition fee would only be waived if we financed a new car through Hyundai Financing. I thought that odd, but we decided to keep shopping and just go with it. We picked out a new (to us) car, and went to obtain financing. They told us the interest rate would be over 7%. When I asked why it was so much, and what my credit score was, I was told that’s just the normal auto loan rate. He told me my credit score was just over 800, and that I’d be hard pressed to find a better rate with any other financing options. Well, this being the 21st Century, I pulled out my smartphone and looked up auto rates with both Chase and Wells Fargo. Both of them gave standard rates at roughly 3.5%. I told him to see what my rate would be with another lender. He ran my financing with another lender, all the while telling us that the disposition fee of $400 would only be waived by going with Hyundai Financing.
Financing came through the second time around at another lender, at an interest rate of 3.4%. Didn’t seem to be too hard to lower the interest rate. For those who are not math majors, the nearly 4% interest change, at the loan amount and term we wanted, was roughly $3,100 less interest than the Hyundai Financing. Obviously we didn’t choose Hyundai Financing.
We spoke with our sales person about still waiving that disposition fee. She and her manager both admitted that when we leased the original vehicle, that’s how they sold people on it. That if they bought another Hyundai, the disposition was waived no questions asked. They never stipulated that the financing had to be obtained through Hyundai. Neither the manager on duty at the time nor the sales person would budge on waiving the fee.
My issue – I entered into a verbal agreement upon leasing a vehicle from Butler Hyundai that no additional fees would be charged upon lease turn in when another Hyundai vehicle was purchased/leased at said time. The new sales person and their manager both admitted that this sales tactic was normal operating procedure at the time. They then added additional stipulations to the verbal agreement, said stipulations would cost thousands of dollars, and refused to waive the fee otherwise. This is not good, nor honest, business practices.
I wish I could give negative 5 stars, be careful they sold a car (42000 miles)to me with Deployment airbag with pre own certified warranty documents
Not the worst car buying experience I've ever had, but also not without problems. Butler Hyundai misplaced $3000 in negative equity when applying for financing (no big deal) and there was a considerable delay in completing the purchase agreement due to a malfunctioning printer. Other than that, everything was straight forward and I felt I received a fair offer.
I have been here before and the service was always decent. However, my last visit took forever. Almost two hours for oil change even though I had a appointment scheduled ahead of time. At some point I took a walk outside and saw my car being driven back. However it took them 30 min after that to get back to me. The guys were just sitting there talking. I didn't even get a car wash. Other people were also visible agitated by the long wait. Not sure if I will be back there for my next service appointment.
Did end up buying a car from here simply because no where else within 600 miles had the one I wanted. Seemed pretty disorganized, I had never met a manager less motivated to sell a vehicle, and it turned what should have taken an hour and a half (due to prior communication and paperwork prep) into a six hour job. Our salesperson was about the only positive aspect of the experience. I would recommend working with Thane if you decide to buy from this location.
Bought a 2016 Sonata from Chris Modory. Very professional sales person. We worked through the few items that you always find on a used car and walked out of the door with the best car at the best price. Worth the drive from the south side.
Really disappointed. I don't like leaving negative reviews so I wanted to wait before I said anything. I bought a used car from here with almost 100k miles on it. I told the dealer I felt like that price was pretty high considering the miles and the year. I was in a hard place and ended up buying it. A few months later I found out that the tires on the car were all different kinds of tires and had to have them all replaced. Now I am looking to refinance and learning that not only did I pay too much I probably paid WAAAY too much because I am now so underwater with my loan that I can't refinance. I will never purchase another vehicle from here again.
Great place. Will worked on my Fiat quick and gave excellent customer service. Very odd waiting area but there were chairs and a TV and free WiFi so I was very pleased.
The worst dealership I have ever been too! Go somewhere else! I bought a brand new car here and two months later... STILL waiting for the copy of a title, STILL waiting for someone to do the paperwork! I'm now driving with an expired temporary plate! I've called the loan company, BMV... no one has any idea where the title is or what to do. These people are horrible! If I would have known this, I would of bought the car elsewhere!
