Orlando Sheppard was my personal injury claims lawyer and he really made sure that this was a very easy process and he communicated with me every step of the way! I was in an unexpected accident early this year that left me injured and I was unsure of my next steps. I contacted Burns Sheppard Favors for assistance during this time. Reggie immediately got me in contact with Physical Therapy and Chiropractor office to Aid in my injuries. In addition to this, He followed up with me on a weekly basis regarding the case and updates.Reggie also checked in on my therapy experience and how I was healing. It's just hard to find a lawyer that will actively listen to your situation enough to provide realistic options on how they can approach the need based on budget and time investment. Harder still to have a lawyer that will adjust strategy to fit the need rather than following a formula of petition after petition, with an endless waiting game for the judge to sift through the accusations and truth-stretching that makes a resume blush. Erica Burns is such a diamond. She developed a plan of action and started down the road, then adjusted the plan when she saw a way to get to closure faster. She listened to my perspective and helped create a solution that gave me the best chance of allowing majority custody for my daughter. I was not made to feel like just another case, and was given enough communication to help calm my judgement anxiety. The strategy worked for me, and I'd highly recommend attorney Burns as an extremely common-sense and competent lawyer!
