hands down the best airport to travel into and out of!
we were lucky to get a bundle deal that took us to NYC from Burbank and it was SUCH A BREEZE to get to new york and even nicer coming back home.
    no crazy traffic.
    no crazy noisey cars everywhere.
no crazy long freeways to get home.
    WE LOVE THIS AIRPORT!!!

This is a pretty basic train platform. There are no services or refreshments here. Best to arrive about 20 minutes before departure unless you want to get really board.

A basic necessity is signage and information. As a first time user of the platform, I could not tell (even after walking the length of both platforms) which side would allow me to board my train heading to Union Station. The ticketing machine is confusing as well. It offers a number of tickets options like 'special tickets' and 'corporate tickets'. In order to buy from the machine, you have to choose the option that says 'buy from airport's which made me concerned that I would be going back into Bob Hope to get a ticket printed. Luckily not. In any case, a helpful local directed me to board on the side opposite the ticketing machine area. And it was an Amtrak surfliner. I had purchased a Metrolink ticket. I looked confused enough so the Amtrak employee helpfully asked me where I was headed and looked at my ticket. She then directed me to board the train ( which I would not have done otherwise since it did not match my purchased ticket). Yikes. What a confusing morning.

At least it is clean and within easy access of the airport.

There is absolutely no signage to give you any information about which track you are traveling on - bare bones.

As an Amtrak station, it is very weak. No building, restrooms, drink machines. Just a platform. Next time we will use Van Nuys. As a metrolink station it seems fine.

After waiting on hold for 45 minutes somebody answered. He told me I would have to call the local office. He gave me a number in Los Angeles. After no one answered after 85 rings. The phone picked up and said my call cannot be completed. Amtrak not good
