Nice little place to settle down after a long drive. Good prices, wonderful owners, and very clean rooms! There are no crazy amenities(soap, coffee, hair dryer) like you'd find at other hotels/motels, however this was a perfect local place to stay at. Would highly recommend :)

The owner was more than accommodating. The family suite was clean and adorable. Nice kitchenette and dining area. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The price was reasonable. My family enjoyed it. We stopped on our way to Marquette. Would definitely recommend. Family owned and operated.

We stayed here for one night. Cute little rooms, exactly what we needed. Large bathrooms, ( although the shower head height is NOT for 6 foot tall people lol). Very clean. Friendly staff, awesome service, great price! Would book again in a heart beat!

Budget Host is what it is: a low cost motel that gets the job done. The room we stayed in was very clean and the price was reasonable. It is a few miles away from the restaurants and other attractions so driving is advised. We grabbed some coffee and a Danish from the motel office in the morning, which was a nice touch but don't mistake it for a continental breakfast. In the end, Budget Host serves strictly as lodging and not an experience. If you're after something unique keep looking.
