I really enjoyed this place. Very beautiful and historic. Really nice people.
Mark & Brenda are delightful hosts. Their home is quaint, with antiques from yesteryear. Both are friendly, pleasant, polite, caring & knowledgeable. Their house-dog, Molly, is sweet & friendly. Very cozy accommodations, hand-made quilts, soft & comfy bed, great corner-shower stall. The clincher was Brenda's delicious breakfast: scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes made from their own-grown pumpkins & thinly sliced apples on top. Coffee & Juice tasty. Sad we only stayed one nite.
Very amazing place, quite and cozy. Owners are great people and the shaker suit was wonderful. If you are couple in PA and want a quite place to get away and relax, this is it. Probably the best part of our trip.
We have been the brownstone colonial twice once April of 2016 and June of 2017. The owners Brenda and Mark are very nice and very welcoming. We have stayed in the shaker suite and the queen Ann room. We preferred the queen Ann room.
A wonderful, relaxing stay with a scrumptious breakfast! A place dripping with history.
We stayed for one night and loved our stay. The owners were very welcoming, the house is beautiful. Experience a lovely and delicious breakfast. The Best was sharing breakfast with Brenda and jim.
Wonderful building, with old and new amenities
Very hospitable, nice rooms, fantastic breakfast. All you could ask for.
This B&B was a great place to stay. We came for a weekend and stayed for 4 days. The inn keepers are very gracious and the rooms are beautiful
This is an amazing bed and breakfast! The owners Brenda and Mark are very friendly. They had lemonade ready for us when we arrived, and gave us good suggestions for dinner and activities in the area. The Inn is very charming, since they have put a lot of time and effort into restoring this 18th century house. I stayed in the Queen Anne's room, which has a very comfortable rope bed. In the morning, Brenda made us a delicious breakfast of fruit salad, eggs, vegetables from their garden, local sausage, and cinnamon french toast. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and charming getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay at Brownstone. Very comfortable room and the bed was perfect. Family breakfast with Mark and Brenda sitting down with us. Will recommend to anyone to stay. Close to Amish and Lancaster area. Brenda referred us to Amanda Lantz for an Amish supper that was wonderful; so much better than any restaurant.
