Project was supposed to be completed on August 17th and still not completed. I am waiting on parts for my shower door and have called and emailed multiple employees who say its in the mail. These people have since stopped responding to my requests to complete my job. Beware of this company as they will not finish your job and not hold up their and of the bargin.

Rip off Alert- READ your contract and shop around

Needed a new roof and Brothers did the roof before about 20+ years ago when they were still only focused on roofing and not the whole 9 yards. Called Brothers for the first quote, the commissioned sales rep tried to scare us into replacing not only the roof but also all the boards/sheathing - over $40k!. Heard everything from the plywood was delaminating to there wasn’t enough ventilation. Ironically, as mentioned it was Brothers who did the roof last time so that should have been the first clue. If this was true they didn't do it right in the first place.

We are also very concerned with the driveway being damaged as well- as that was recently redone and the sales rep insisted that if they damage the driveway they would fix it. We were dumb and wound up signing the contract anyway for just shingle replacement but then had second thoughts the next day. Upon further inspection of the contract, there were several very fishy parts that were not mentioned during contract signing. First, it flat out says that they are not responsible for driveway damage, though we verbally asked many times and assured they would cover it. The rep conveniently skipped over that part.

We had four other roofing specialty contractors look at the house, not prepping any of them of what the others had said. ALL of them said the plywood was fine and there was more than enough ventilation.

Further- every other contractor simply submitted their proposals via email for us to review on our own terms, then resubmit once we found errors or omissions.

Brothers also never provided any itemized materials list, like the other 4 contractors provided - the rep just went through and mostly verbally explained everything. We had to press on “is this included?” such as replacement flashing, sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn’t. It wasn’t until I asked that we find out they were NOT going to replace the chimney flashing either- which is standard procedure for a full roof replacement since the original flashing would be full of holes. Third, to address the BS "not enough ventilation" issue - they were going to put in DCI Smartvents. I assumed it would be for the entire house, but it wasn't until I specifically asked that they were not going to put it over the attached 2 car garage. Then, to put it in would be an extra $1k. Other contractors would do the not-needed DCI Smartvent for $1200 for the ENTIRE HOUSE!

Next - the primary owner of the house is over 65, and in this state legally has an extra two business days to rescind the contract, of course that part was never mentioned either during the live high pressure contract signing when they expect you to sign that night. I’ve worked commissioned sales before and of course you want to skip the objectionable parts and get the customer to sign to get paid. Really shady for a “Christian” based business.

To top it off- they were $8k more than the next most expensive and $12k more than the cheapest for similar scope of work (no complete roofdeck replacement). We wound up cancelling the contract and going with someone else.

Beware, be very aware - this experience was like going to the shady car mechanic who says everything is wrong, and says they won’t damage your car. Then the fine print says they’re not responsible for damage. Guess someone has to pay for their numerous TV ads and commissioned sales staff. You’ve been warned.

We had a water stain in our shower (not related to plumbing, etc.) and called Brothers Services. Doug Meckley showed up and immediately diagnosed the problem. He clearly and completely explained what Brothers could do for us including the time line for the completion of the project. We got more than I expected included cleaning out the gutters and reinforcing them. They even removed an old satellite dish that on the roof. Doug made me feel that Brothers is completely trustworthy and reliable. We will definitely call on Brothers to replace our roof when the time comes.

My experience with Brothers Services Company was very positive. From our initial contact through to the completion of our project, Brothers Services staff acted professionally, courteously and communicated with us so we knew what work was being performed every step of the way.
This was a large job: siding, doors, roof, gutters and downspouts. The installers worked hard every day and our project was finished in the time frame that was promised to us and with excellent results. The areas around our house were kept clean and safe and no flowers or bushes were damaged. Most importantly, they took the time to answer any questions or concerns that I had.
Brothers Services lived up to my expectations and their reputation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking into a remodeling project. We were most satisfied with the quality of the products that were installed, and the workmanship and professionalism of the installers.
We don't have any additional projects planned right now. However, if something comes up we will definitely contact Brothers Services again.
I would like to give several shout-outs beginning with our project manager Mike Cox who provided excellent customer service through-out all phases of our remodeling project. Also, the crew who installed our siding really did an exceptional job. I would label them more as craftsmen than installers. And finally, special thanks to Danielle Martindale who provided invaluable support by providing us with the location of homes where Brothers previously performed remodeling work, so we could view beforehand the similar products and colors that we selected for our home.

From our initial contact through to the completion of our siding install Brothers Services staff acted professionally, courteously, and friendly. The installers worked hard all day and our project was finished in the time frame that was promised to us. The installers even did little things that we didn't expect like hanging our new mailbox and installing our new doorbell just to name a few. The areas around our house were kept clean and safe and no flowers or bushes were damaged. Brothers Services lived up to my expectations and their reputation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking into a remodeling project!!We were most satisfied with the quality of the product (siding) and the workmanship of the installers. Our house looks beautiful! I smile every time I go outside or come home and many neighbors have stopped by to tell us how nice it looks..I would like to give a shout out to our project manager Mike and the entire staff that installed our siding. They really did an exceptional job.We don't have any projects in line right now. However, if something comes up we will definitely contact Brothers Services again!!

Arrived on time each day. Very professional. Attention to detail. Harry took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had. I love my new nineteen windows. I was so pleased, I had Brothers replace attic and basement windows. I also request the same employees who came the first time. Told Brothers I would wait until the same two gentlemen were available.
