Just came here today to have them fix my front tire on my mower. Everything appeared ok and i drove it on my trailer. Soon as i got home i noticed the tire was flat again. They didnt fix my tire at all they put a tube inside it and its the wrong tube because the valve stem will not align with the hole in the rim. All they did was inflate the tube a little bit and under the pressure of being strapped down on the trailer the valve stem retracted all the way back into the rim because they just had it stretched to reach the hole. What a terrible job they did i cannot believe these scam artists got my money. Now i have to waste another day this time i will go to a more competent shop to have it done Right. Learn from my mistake stay away from these jokers!! The bald guy at the counter was rude as can be now im thinking this was intentional..
Great service. The entire staff is we versed. I used to be a brain washed stihl and John Deere buyer. DAVE STOCKS quality equipment and have the best customer service bar none.
Horrible, couldn't car less about the customer. Is more interested in being right, then taking care of customers. Used them for service, service was ok, but broke a part on my mower, I spent $79 for service, the part they broke cost $15 to fix. Told me absolutely not, not gonna help you. Could have had a permanent customer, but lost me over $15. Poor business ethics.
Awful customer service. They had a 20% off discount on their website that was in-date and it took them 20 minutes to reluctantly honor it. They denied they put on their website and didn't believe us until we showed them on their own computers where to find the coupon.
I have been buying equipment for my yard and associated repair and maintenance services from them for close to 20 years. I trust them to do good work at fair prices, and am surprised at some of the negative reviews. The owner Dave is conscientious, knowledgeable, and trustworthy; I would expect him to be fair in any dispute with a customer.
Brought my Echo chainsaw in for warranty repair. Small issue with choke sticking. Repair took two weeks. When I picked up the chainsaw, it was brought to me dripping wet. Was told that they don't have room inside, therefore it was left out in the pouring rain. You'd think they could at least tarp customer equip. That kind of disregard makes me question their overall business practice. Won't be back!
Super helpful folks, and very reasonable prices.
Great people with great products and service!
These are the most unfriendly, uncivilized, rude people one can find in a service store. My first interaction with them was fine. I did bring in my mower for service, they took my data and told me that it would be ready in about two to three weeks. They called me back right on time and I picked up my mower. So far so good. My mistake was not to ask them to start it there in front of me and check the oil and gas tanks for content. I drove home, started mowing and half way through the mower got over heated, stopped running and started smoking. That is when I checked the gas and oil tanks. Even though they charged me $4 for the new oil they never put it in.
I had to go to a hardware store, buy oil and put it in myself. The mower would not re-start.
The following morning the mower started but I called them anyway to see if there was any further damage. That is when the problems started. Joe received my mower and the first thing he did was to scold me because I had over filled the oil tank. False: the mower had been in a tilted position in the trunk of the car and that is why it showed to be over filled. The second thing he said to me, as if I were stupid, is that new oil is clear and that is why I didn't see it. I mentioned to him that somebody else had answered the phone and had agreed to take a look right away so he went in and looked for somebody else to come out and talk to me. After a second not very friendly conversation I left the mower in for the day.
Joe called me back at the end of the day to tell me that the mower runs fine, that he had it running for about an hour and there was no smoke. When I picked it up I mentioned that if everything was alright and there was no smoke it was because I had put in the oil that they had forgotten. I also said that to err is human, but to acknowledge mistakes and errors takes some sophistication. It is not worth adding here what he said at the end, suffice it to say that I didn't even get the $4 back.
If you can avoid them, avoid them. They are not worth your time and effort.
