Bridgewater State is decent. Campus and professors are awesome.

Don't go here, One of the schools professors is a HATE filled Intolerant GAYSTAPO freak. He attacks his students with profane language, and gives them bad grades just because you don't share "her/his" world views. Garrett Avila-Nichols , google him,,

Fire Nichols! Your liberal biased hypocrisy is on full display. Everyone that isn't a brain-washed snowflake should be outraged. A professor that tells his students with differing opinion that they're not welcome on campus isn't going to be disciplined? Shame!

I've applied to this school after looking around it. The atmosphere around it is awesome.I've met some of the faculties they responded very friendly.

My granddaughter's dance school Spotlight had their recital at the Auditorium. What a perfect place.

This is an update to a previous rating regarding graduate programs at Bridgewater. After spending more time here and attending more classes, I can only report a positive experience.
Significant efforts have been made to offer additional classes since my last review and the criminal justice department has been excellent about expediting my progression as much as possible through the program as a working professional.
I can not adequately emphasize the quality of some of my criminal justice professors. They genuinely are knowledgeable in their particular fields and I have greatly appreciated the wide range of information they have been able to offer to me over the course of my time here. They truly care about students and are some of the hardest working professors I have seen.
While the facilities themselves are not ivy-league and database subscriptions may not be as numerous as other institutions; this place is an excellent value for the education you receive. You'll definitely work harder here and it will be challenging, but the sentiment that you earned the degree will make it worth the effort because you will have actually learned something along the way.response / report this review -

My son graduated from there in 1992 when it was called Bridgewater College. He now works as a scientist at Tufts. He found a job right away. His son, (my grandson) will be graduating from there this spring and plans on going for his Master's Degree. They both received a wonderful education.
