The food was unreal. Everything tasted great, and I felt very satisfied. I didn't have that stuffed feeling I so often get when eating out. Very competitive prices and attentive service. Going back before I leave the area.

My brother and I had lunch today here at Brian's. We both had the chopped sirloin dinners and it was deliciously prepared as ordered, seasoned to perfection. The entire experience was great. The strawberry shortcake was so awesome👍. Our waitress was kind and very attentive as to any requests. We are frequent customers and again it was a wonderful experience.

Pretty pricing for the offering and environment. Good flavor on the steaks, but WAY overpriced for what you got. Fried seafood sampler would not be ordered again. Broiled flounder was interesting, kind of a tough crust on top, a little too chewy for a fish crust. The seafood stuffing looked like mush in the middle of the fish, yuck, sure didn't add anything to the dish. This wouldn't be our first, or second, choice for dinner in the area.

Went to this restaurant after reading Google reviews and was not disappointed. The food was good and reasonably priced. We liked it enough to have dinner there again on our way back through town (travelling between MD and SC). I can highly recommend the ribeye steak. Order it cooked the way you like it because the person cooking knows the difference between medium and medium rare. I didn't give them 5 stars because I was not blown away, but I would give 4 1/2 stars if possible.

A great local find on the way to VA Beach. Best and biggest piece of fried flounder (pic below) I’ve ever eaten. It was noticeably friendly with the owners greeting guests and locals by name. Also, very clean restaurant. Don’t go to KFC next door. 😎

Had a delicious soup w sausage ham n beef w a taste of Italian along with the biggest salad n couldn't finish so that's for supper. Nice place for lunch.

Great place for home style cooking. The two times I have been here service was friendly and,efficient. If you are a fried chicken liver person, the fried livers here are than w must have.

Great stopover for my MD to NC business trip every month.
I ordered the prime rib with squash and string beans. The prime rib was real good as well as the squash side dish which was cooked with sweet onions making the squash real sweet. The string beans had a ham flavor evident of the bits of ham it was cooked with.
My wife had a medium cooked ribeye which they say their steaks are "aged for 21 days". I tasted a slice and thought it was perfect. She had a tasty side of black-eye peas seasoned with ham bits. Nothing wrong with her other side which was a salad.
We had a knockout dessert-bourbon pecan pie ala mode..quarter sized pecans with the right hint of bourbon in a homemade soft crust topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled all over with caramel.
Well worth the agreeable prices and I tipped well over 15% because of their polite staff.

Food is AMAZING, great selections. Hostess is RUDE AS HELL especially to my 11 year old son when he ask for salad toppings. She is a brunette lady probably in her 60's. Old enough to have some manors!!

Highly disappointed. The food is incredibly overpriced for the quality and quantity you get. The side salad was browned and tasted like old bagged moist walmart salad.
The steak was below average in taste and flavor, though cooked close to ordered style.
The baked potato was good but generic.
The appetizers were burnt and had very little meat to them, all breading.
The service was below average but not terrible however.
The steak meal and drink I had totaled around 20 something for me alone(no appetizer)and I could have had a much better meal at a better price from one of the other near by restaurants. Id advise going else where unfortunately.response / report this review -

My experience every time I go to Brians is nothing less of amazing. The staff is so efficient and polite. The food is so so good!!! I am never disappointed.
