I bring my daughter to Blumenthal every December to see the Nutcracker. The Charlotte Ballet offers a beautiful performance that encourages us to keep our tradition going. The theater is very comfortable. We enjoy sitting in the mezzanine which offers great views of the stage. The ushers have always been super and seem to be genuinely happy we are there seems like a small thing but definitely adds to the whole experience.
Awesome experience.. A walk through the Bank of America Center leading to the Blumenthal Performing Arts Theater was very enjoyable.. especially during the Christmas season..Great seating and professional help made the visit outstanding.
We saw The Sound of Music and had a great time. The Performing Arts Center Staff were very efficient at getting people going toward the right place as soon as you walk in the door. The bar staff were friendly and also efficient. Our seats were very high up so next time I'd spend a little more to be lower and closer to the stage.
This place is very clean and the inside is really pretty. The line for the bathroom goes extremely fast. The staff had three people in there pointing out which ones are open. Very good system.
Great location for events. Incredible staff, quality location. Loads of restaurants near by. Great package is how's called "Broadway Lights"
It was beautiful. Show was great!! We saw Finding Neverland. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will say the stuff for sale after the show was expensive!! $70 for a hoodie!! On another note the sodas and water were reasonably priced
Great shows at affordable prices. It was just renovated a few years ago to include additional restrooms (much needed). The app now allows to you to order drinks ahead of time to avoid lines during intermission. Easy to navigate and the staff is very friendly. Discounted parking ($5) with partner lots (7th Street Station & BOA).
I truly enjoy making a night at a musical with my Husband and friends BUT Why do so many shows have Drug, Gay homosexual not just overtones??? Push down your throat type settings??? I WOULD rather give my money to help Children in a homeless situation than go TO ANother show like RENT!
My daughter's dance recital was held at this venue this year and it was fantastic. The theater is easy to get to even though is in a busy downtown area. The venue is also super accessible from the adjecent parking areas. We never had to step outside.
My grand daughters first recital it was awesome. The experience was great!
Lovely theatre with a great lineup of classical and Broadway productions. I've never been disappointed by Charlotte Symphony performance.
I was invited out to The Book of Mormon playing at the Orpheus Theater. I laughed so hard, I had tears running down my legs. The theater is a great venue in the city, but the area in which it sits is a little sketchy and there is no close parking, so be prepared to walk a bit.The acoustics in the 2nd level - upper tier could use some amplification, but the view is good from anywhere in the theater. Sit back and enjoy the show!
Visited most recently to see Sebastian Maniscalco. Getting in was quick and easy, staff was friendly, and being a beer nerd I was glad to see they have added much better beer selections than my last visit a few years ago. The venue was nice and even though we were up a little no problems with sound or hearing.
