This is a great hotel. Close to the action in Condado, great gym, beach bay access outside of the rough surf, and lots of great places to eat nearby.

Extra bonus: the gym area has a steam room and sauna.

The staff and maintenance at the hotel has been excellent after the hurricane hit. My deepest appreciation to all the employees at the Condado Plaza Hilton for all their hard work and friendliness during my stay thus far.

We stayed in March 2017. We had reserved an Oceanfront room, but told we had not. After a long conversation, we were moved to an oceanfront room. We stayed 10 days. Our room was clean, everything worked fine and the staff was very pleasant. Any help I needed in regards to day trips , I received. Going to sleep listening to the waves crashing below was heaven. The hotel is large enough to wander around and feel overwhelmed by crowds. We could walk to many restaurants and shopping in Old San Juan. The horseback riding tour was one of the nicest riding stables I’ve been to while traveling, I went back twice.
I would of given 5 stars but on our last day I had discovered I had a peice of clothing come up missing. I’m still waiting to hear back from Louis. I would stay at the hotel on our next visit. I’m watching the news and am praying for all on the island to survive the hurricane that is suppose to hit today. Our visit to The the island was everything we had hoped for.

I'm currently staying at this hotel with my family, and this review is for the bar/bartender. While my family was trying to leave the hotel (Which is right on the coast) and go inland from the category 5 hurricane Maria, which is a life or death situation, my father decided he didn't want to go with us because he was too busy flirting with the bartender, who sadly was flirting back in an obvious attempt to get his money. Now, I can understand that, because that's what bartenders do. However, I explained to her that our entire family was trying to evacuate to a safe shelter, and that my father was an alcoholic and married, so to please cut him off and allow us to take him to shelter. I explained that he had a problem with alcohol that thankfully the rest of our family does not share. Unfortunately, I came back almost an hour later to see him and her still giggling and her still giving him drinks, which she denied. Needless to say, I let her know I would be leaving a review. I didn't appreciate somebody at that hotel putting my entire family in danger, and feed the addiction of an alcoholic, just to make money. That's a morally bankrupt, disgusting action, even by Barton your standards. I don't recommend anybody with an alcoholic and the family to come to this hotel, because it's not going to end well. With that said, I understand that my father is responsible for his own actions completely. But the bartender is responsible for her actions as well, especially since we were customers. She should have cut him off and politely instructed him to go with his family.

Hotel is clean and has different amenities but you can see the age of the hotel. It desperately needs a refresh. Some areas of the hotel smell of cleaning agents and the rooms are similar. TVs in the room are small and so are the bathrooms. As for the pool area, I went at night around 8pm and there were no towels available to use, the pool area was full of empty drinks and used towels all over the place. The pool needed desperate attention. It was a bit disappointing. We have a few nights left so hopefully it will be better.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the beach and right in the center of the tourism area. The staff is phenomenal and absolutely above and beyond my expectations of luxury service. They even folded our dirty laundry! From the concierge to the Spa to the front of house staff, the entire visit sets the bar for all other luxury hotels

When I go to Puerto Rico, this is my hotel. Love having the calm lagoon to lounge in.. no waves knocking me down. Love having the Starbucks next door, close and convenient. The staff and rooms are wonderful. The perfect place to unwind and relax. ❤❤❤
