Not fond of the pulled pork it was very watered down. But i love the chicken and ribs and the sides. If you are looking for hot barbecue sauce this isnt the place for you. Great service and friendly staff

Very good, the large potato with pulled pork is enough for 2! Cole slaw excellent, smoked green beans had great smoky flavor. Wish their spicy sauce had a bit more zing, but overall this place is a winner. We'll be back!

Phenomenal local spot. I mean a town named Cowpens has to have incredible barbecue, and this place is it.

I had the BBQ platter,the ribs and chicken were pretty damn amazing,while the pulled pork was ok.the beans were described as baked bbq beans no they tasted like canned pork n beans but overall a good heart meal

My sister and I ate at the Bluegrass for the first time today. We are sorry we hadn't done it sooner. Best BBQ Pork and ribs we have ever had. Sauces are to die for. You have to try their original Smoked Green Beans. They also had homemade banana pudding and pecan pie. Sadly we didn't get the chance to try the desserts because their platters are huge. Great service! Great food! Great family friendly environment.

Really good que and stew,,, if you order "extra" meat which is priced right you get a pile of it. Good service as well.. no great service.

Pulled pork was good. I enjoyed the wood smoke flavor, the meat was a little dry but nothing a little sauce can't cure. Pretty good portions for the price. Thought they had hand cut fries but they were just frozen. Other side's and sauces were acceptable. Nice local dining option for Cowpens. I would recommend over any chain restaurants in the area.

Friendly staff, but the food was such a disappointment! The mac and cheese we ordered tasted like it had been freezer burnt, and they just added water to it, heated it up and served it to us. The actual BBQ was just okay, nothing remarkable to write home about. The sauce selection was very limited. And last but not least, the dining area was hot and uncomfortable, and had several flies buzzing around. Not a very good experience and we will not be back.
