Quick, cheap, and yummy! This place makes a great place to stop on a lunch break. The restaurant itself is very clean on the inside. The half sandwich combo can’t be beat for the price. I had the vegetarian black bean burger and the potato leek soup - both were excellent! I’ll be coming here more often.

Worst sandwich experience ever. Waited in line for 20 minutes, ordered 2 sandwiches to go. Waited for 30 minutes then asked for a refund so I could leave and get food somewhere else. The cashier told me it was just 1 more minute, that my sandwiches were on the grill right then. I waited 5 more minutes, then received my 2 "grilled" sandwiches. They were cold. Never eating there again.

This is a nice little restaurant with really good sandwiches and soups. They have a wide selection with my favorite being muffuletta. The staff is friendly and quick at getting the food out.

Absolutely delicious! The sandwiches are so tasty. There is a gentleman who possibly owns the place, though I'm not completely certain, but he is always incredibly friendly and doesn't ever seem to stop smiling. He gives such a strong positive vibe to the whole place, and is always quick to give a refill. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. My favorite here is the Bloomington Sandwich Co. Sub, give it a go and you won't be disappointed! Also, be sure to try the italian ice, it is always delicious!

Recommend: Italian Beef, Reuben, or Btown Sub.

Do not hesitate to go here. I can't bring myself to spend money on a sandwich anywhere else in town after eating here. I have friends who come down to Bloomington and it's a tradition to eat here. The quality of their sandwiches are unbeatable and as the owner will tell you, they make Corned Beef and Italian Beef in house. (Their Reuben is the best I've ever had.) The portion sizes are great, the prices are reasonable, the owner can be seen working most days and he is the epitome of customer service. I LOVE that they don't advertise and are a word-of-mouth restaurant. I really don't know how there isn't a line out the door everyday. After living here for two years and trying most places in town, I can now safely say this is my favorite restaurant in Bloomington.

I can't stress enough how awesome this place is. Great ingredients, hearty portions, and always geared toward making the best food possible. I always get the Bloomington Sub Sandwich with gardenaire peppers and hot pressed. Mike, the owner, is seriously one of the most dedicated people I have ever seen when it comes to his business. He not only takes making sure everyone is satisfied very seriously but also really embodies the kind of work ethic and commitment to quality that I hope to see from all local businesses. Also, he includes a pickle with each sandwich and I am firm believer that good sandwiches include pickles.
