  A Real Estate Agent from Blanchard and Calhoun showed the house my husband and I are currently renting in to possible buyers without our consent. We came home to our front door not properly locked, lights left on and a card from the realtor on our kitchen counter. We were NEVER contacted by this company before they showed the house. This is extremely inappropriate and illegal!! I would not conduct business with a company that doesn't go through the proper procedures of showing a house that has current occupants if I was looking at a house to buy. Keep that in mind while using their agents. They don't bother to go through legal procedures to show homes with current occupants!!

  Almost zero representation and they definitely do not work in the best interest of their clients. The fees they charge are basically for accounting purposes only.

  I wish I could give negative stars.
  *The rental agent was unavailable for 4 months.
  *The rent check was short on several occasions.
  *The tenants broke contract and the agent didn't do a single thing about it.
  *The tenants didn't pay last 2 mths rents b/c they thought the contract ended, even though they asked to move out.
  * The deposit was given to us, but was still charged a management fee.
  *We didn't receive the last month's rent.
  Avoid this company for rental properties.

  Laura Norland, the property managed would never answer her phone when we called, and would take 3 weeks to respond to an email. the only time I could ever get her on the phone was when I blocked my number with *67, she would always answer when she couldn't see my number.. Haha Poor service as a whole company. Will never do service with Blanchard again. Side note- the new neighbor that moved in next to us when we were in the townhome at 3203 W Wimbledon smoked cigarettes inside her townhome and the smoke would come in through the kitchen and makes the whole downstairs smell like smoke.. So if you're looking to rent, avoid that place. I voiced our concerns about the smell and possible health risks from the cigarette smoke to B&C and they did nothing but continue to block my calls.

  There is not an option for -20 or else that would have been the rating given. They never, NEVER call you back as they promise. Laura Norland was the Lease Manager I was dealing with.Customer service is horrible. Although I make a large annual income they couldn't seem to find a way to get me in the town home I was very excited about. Was it because they would have preferred to rent to someone else? Oh well, I will take my business somewhere else never to return to Blanchard and Calhoun for real estate OR Insurance services.
