Only the greatest pub ever. Best beer list on the planet (literally). Awesome comfort/pub food. Beware: bartenders are sirens (they're awesome).

My husband and I are visiting from Massachusetts and was looking for a nice place for dinner. Upon entering we were informed by the bartender that because there are only two in our party we can only sit at the bar! The table are reserved for 3 or more in a party! We left and went to The BlueStone!!

Great selection of beers. We had the nachos, which were delicious with homemade salsa. Great atmosphere. I was there with my girl, and she really enjoyed it as well.

This pub is great! The staff is so friendly and hilarious. I went there for dinner with my boyfriend for my birthday weekend in VT and he mentioned it was my birthday to them. They made sure to put a candle in my dessert so I could blow it out and they didn't charge us for it. So generous! The food is delicious and the beer selection is off the charts. Can't wait to go back!

No trip to the Stowe - Waterbury, VT area for the craft brew lover would be complete without stopping at the Blackback Pub. The recently expanded roster of 30 taps provides a constantly changing offering of award winning locals, undiscovered up and comers and hard to get beers from elsewhere. Match that with the eclectic menu of local beef sliders, perfectly seared ahi tuna, inspired specials and good old-fashioned hospitality and you have a formula that's hard to beat. Must try: the "pub nachos," a hearty portion of tortilla chips topped with local maple syrup, blue and cheddar cheese and bacon.

Great menu. Thought I wasn't getting anything special with a steak and cheese.. Then they asked how I wanted it cooked.. Medium rare, chunky meat, warm toasty bun, great flavor.

Wow! What a gem! This place has a really cool ambiance cozy, warm, comfortable. Feels like you could just hang out here on a snowy evening with a bunch of friends shooting the breeze and bending the elbow. Menu includes really good pub food but not overly heavy.

Fantastic food and even better beer menu!!!
Driving through VT and needed some lunch, found Blackback Pub on Google Maps and glad we did. Without question, the beer menu is above top notch which alone should make you go out of your way for a visit. The bonus reward is the food!!! We got the curry butternut squash soup, the mac & cheese (with pulled pork & blue cheese), and the BBQ Pork sandwich. Everything was excellent - can't wait until I can find a reason to stop by again soon!!!response / report this review -
