Formerly known as Nordic Barn, Mountain Ops Vermont is the best of Stowe when it comes to top of the line product, support and customer service. I wouldn't go anywhere else for AT, telemarking or Nordic gear. They go out of their way to honor warranties and nurture customer loyalty. They have a great team of knowledgeable sales and service personnel.

Before visiting Stowe Vermont, my family and I did our normal research for planning the trip. The Nordic Barn's website was very informative and accurate with the rental equipment and pricing. Great experience. Did i mention awesome staff?!!

We rented bikes for the recreation path here, and so happy we did! We were able to rent when we wanted, for how long, with no problems. Great service --- we were renting while 2 other groups were checking in/out but gentleman behind the counter was courteous, unfettered, and helpful and got us all taken care of in good time. The Nordic Barn is at the PERFECT location (I think, among the 3 rental places in Stowe for bikes) for the rec path - just before the end, so you aren't doubling back a couple times like AJ's or Pinnacle. We were able to get a free kid's rental for our toddler to enjoy the ride with us, and were able to drop the bike off after hours - which was ideal for our late afternoon ride. Had an overall great experience and will be back - thanks!
